You can only have one Faction Weakness now.

No you don't. When you offer trade points in a certain tree, the other player gets the trade points and the trade points they offer are the ones you get. Trade points are applied randomly to unresearched tech in whatever tree it comes from. So if you give 28 Magic points for 28 Civ points, it means THEY get 28 Magic points and YOU get 28 Civ points. You're not actually sharing techs, you are giving access to certain amount of research points in a certain tech t
Especially since it would actually COST money for Stardock.
They're not immune to poison though, especially from bows, are they?
Derek, can you fix this for 1.01?
Units that are immune to spells will be immune to spells even if they are marked as abilities
Derek, does this mean that Spell Immune now means Ability immune (including Double Strike, Stun etc.), or is it just that things like Hurl Boulder (which can be a spell or ability) when used by AI monsters counts as a spell with regards to magic immunity, rather than an ability?
One time in a battle with lots of spiders Web was cast three or four times on the one unit, and it made 0 difference to how long the web lasted. In fact, the spiders shouldn't be able to Web a unit that is already webbed. However the AI doesn't need to go through the UI.
Well, heroes that start at level 1 don't get to level up twice to L2, so I think Henchmen and Sions should only get one level-up to get to L2.
Is it possible they are getting (rather than costing) money from rushing?
I think that at least the most serious AI bugs should be fixed in 1.01, and the others fixed as soon as possible after.
This would also explain why it is possible for an AI player to raze a city without waiting 5 turns - because it doesn't get stopped by the UI block that players have until 5 turns after.
The problem is, a single game of FE takes a long time, especially on a large map, normally much longer than a single multi-hour session, and you can't easily keep FE open while doing other stuff or it will eventually have a DX error. So you are not just discriminating against "save scummers", you are discriminating against people who don't want to spend 10 or so hours in a day just to finish one game. Then there are those who don't have so reliable power, and making AI
I have had a DX crash when I switched between Comodo Dragon (variant of Chrome browser) when trying to keep FE open, and I think I posted a case of a failed end turn in one of the changelog threads.
Well, usually funny things happen when you change the game version and use the same saves. Although it should definitely not be saving the same save on both current and previous autosave slots.
I agree with the sentiment and reasoning in this thread, and I do agree that you should spell-change the title like Xia said. =)
Yeah, create your own Champions (as Henchmen are) really is too powerful. It even says in the manual that Henchmen die like normal units, so I think that is what should happen, meaning you have to take care of them or they will be snuffed out.
If we are going to keep the existing system where different things are inherent in different races, then I am fine with all Wraith Sovs getting Binding.
Sean, did you decipher what was happening in the save in reply 484?
This needs to be fixed for 1.01 proper, as it probably affects all mods too!
Yeah, it does work in 1.00 AFAIK.
There is a hang bug when attacking the city in the attached save . When the second group of defender mages attacks, the battle hangs, even when the game is loaded up straight after the computer boots into Windows (7, 64 bit). I think I might have been able to win the battle if I could fight it out, but auto-resolve gives me no chance. Is this a vanilla bug, or related to having mage defenders
Quoting SniperColt, reply 481Well, in about 3 maps with different settings near my spawn point its just 570hp stack crag spawns and crow demons and nasty stuff like that, so far the only thing i can do with my sovereign is stay in the starting city lol. yeah i dont think this mod is one bit balanced. ridiculous. i had a game where i was forced to say in my city for 50 turns till i could get a decent army to tackle these m
I agree with this tying Wraith blood to Binding. Why not write this up as a suggestion - after all it is OT in this topic. =)
You find the creature type by doubleclicking on it on the strategic map, and seeing its type. Basically it is the screen that you can get for any unit in the game - if it is a "Beast" type, you have a chance of capturing it.
Sean, did you know that champion recruiting sites frequently spawn without champions in the previous version? I have saves if you want them. Also, just got a crash on ending a turn (debug.err here ).
