You make a good point, Philly0381. Violence against anyone is deplorable. But I do think the world is changing for the better. It just is in a state of flux at the moment.

AoW3 will apparently have hotseat and PBEM, too just like the previous AoW games. Check out the Play by Email section of the Age of Wonders Heaven Forum , it is one of the one up-to-date sections of the whole forum, despite the previous game Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic being 10 years old by now! I agree too, but at first it helps to have a focus! [e digicons];)[/e] [e digicons]|-)[/e] Helping reduce violence against women will help reduce violence generally so that it becomes the norm. And females have tended to be a very discriminated against section of society which probably makes up more than half of all people. Violence and prejudice/discrimination in whatever form only exist while the majority of people tolerate it. When people start en masse to disagree st
I say, do what makes your heart sing, put in a capable framework (a lot you have already) and go for it! And try to listen to your heart and intuition, not your head. Intuition is rarely (ever?) wrong with a capable framework for keeping on track. :-) This is my first FE related post in a while. But I thought like chipping in here. So I say: Do what makes your heart sing! [
It's up for each person to decide what they will do regarding the special day. I didn't intend for a political discussion, but I did want to let Stardock fans and employees know that the event existed. Well, that's all I have to say on this topic. Do with it what you will. :-) Oh, and happy 2013, and may it be your best year yet! [e digicons]:wc:[/e] [e digicons]|-)[/e] [e digicons]:sun:[/e]
Well, way back in time, women were the leaders. And I'm sure as a group-wide statistic they didn't beat up their husbands or rape them very much.
When you look at it, there is a lot more violence against women, because they are considered lesser, then there is violence against men. There's no denying women are discriminated against even in software development and games circles, as Frogboy himself has mentioned, and it certainly aint because they aren't as good as the men. This isn't about a political discussion, this is about letting people know of an important event aiming to make it just a little bit fairer

Although there is no defense to pure damage death spells, like Despair, other than a high spell resistance (which only halves damage).
Frogboy said a long time ago that the AI never attempts the master quest. But it does attempt the spell of making. One time I searched for Yithril everywhere and just managed to knock him out the turn before he would have won. This was on a large map. I think you need to find the pulsing rainbow magic square to find where the caster is, and that's not easy on a big map.
Note: Fortress improvements (and maybe some other improvements) can modify base value on certain stats (like defense, above).
I understand you. A full strength unit is entering a combat with only 2 out of 3 "figures" of that 3-man unit (figure = unit within a unit). I would say it's definitely a bug.
I think it was meant to be that cities that were settled by another side that you took over would not produce militia when attacked. However, I'm pretty sure I've had militia defending occupied cities before, so maybe you have to wait 5 turns before militia will appear? Just a guess.
It's a long-standing bug which would probably be pretty easy to fix, so I hope they do so relatively soon.
Non Aggression Pacts are supposed to last 50 turns. Unfortunately it seems the AI can ignore this and terminate a NA treaty, or any other time-based Treaty, sometimes REALLY early. So it is a bug.
It's like magazines - they often have a date that is far ahead of the actual date, and often you can't get, say a November magazine when it is very far into November.
You can't train units with Warhorses if you only have them via an encompassed Stable. But you can still buy them for heroes.
There is a separate tech for Henchmen. Henchmen are no longer unlocked by the Heroes tech. The only requirements to build Henchmen are Altarian blood (Men race) and the Henchmen tech, which is underneath the Heroes tech. I have a custom Altarian faction in 1.02 and I researched Henchmen tech and was able to train Henchmen. You don't need Heroic tech for Henchmen anymore, it is now a characteristic of the Faction Race, like Slaves are for Magnar, Juggernauts are for
I agree.
How does Diamondskin work?
When you capture a city or an outpost, resources don't flip until the next turn.
What is so different from previous versions? Stormworld is one of the best FE mods so far, why are you seemingly dragging your heels?
I'm 32, and my first Stardock game was WOM, which I found out about on the CivFanatics forum, from which I migrated to Stardock's forums. Got a bit emotional when WOM was released, but hung in there and am pleased with how FE has turned out.
If you have No Taxes, Propaganda does not produce any Gildar. Propaganda does not produce gildar on its own, it influences the processes of your city to produce extra gildar.
A while back Frogboy said the AI was programmed to not take the Master Quest. I don't imagine that has changed.
