If you move an army immediately it was possible for a human player's army to exist on the same tile as a monster. Though that was a few patches ago. But I think it is still possible with regards to the sequencing of players - human players can go when they like, and if you are really quick it can get messed up.

When someone settles Imperium all the rivers there act like grassland.
The first impression people currently get of the game is with Auto-Turn On, which is likely to be confusing and a bit of downer. Especially since sometimes you want to move a Pioneer (or the Sov with the first city) full movement and then settle. That is not possible with Auto-Turn On. It would be a very simple change and those who still want it on can turn it on, and newbies are not put off (which I think would be the general impression) because of it. First impressio
In fact very close together. The only mods I have are Snaking and the Rare City Level Up Abilities mod, which shouldn't really affect placement of the Arena quest.

Do the files just go straight into the Mods folder? And are they compatible with 1.29?
It would be great if we could set the maximum number of negative traits. Before you could take all of them, now you can take only one, it would be great if we could set the maximum number. Although an XML option for setting the maximum number of trait points might be better, I'm not sure. =)
Then look at all of the 64-bit games made for the PC. Um... not many. ;-)
EDITED to accurately reflect current bug.
From the OP: "but to do a real-time, huge scale RTS, we really need a 64-bit, DirectX 11 style game engine"
You are guaranteed to be able to buy Iru Elixirs that heal a random injury by upgrading a village to a Conclave and researching until you get Alchemist buildings. Building upgrades from Herbalist -> Apocathery -> Alchemist (EDIT - One More Upgrade) -> Alchemy Lab. Also, you can get a Restoration Potion from the quest where the Butcherman butchers the poor old lady, or alternatively you could get lucky and score a Resoration Potion as high-level loot. Difficulty sliders. As said in the first line of the OP. ;-)
AI players can still raze cities immediately on capture. https://forums.elementalgame.com/440481
They don't have to wait 5 turns - they can raze as soon as they capture. Either allow us to raze whenever we want, or make them wait 5 turns. Probably the latter is better. =) (Note it makes sense that Monsters/Denizens can raze immediately, but not AI players. Although it even then it is a bit harsh.) Here is the latest save of my game, and the autosaves, which show the city that was previously there has now gone in the latest save, razed by Resoln. <
I think it happens for some people but not others. There must be something in common with their computers. I haven't got any crashes for a long time.
AI can build cities on all sorts of places human players can't - rivers, shards, outposts, you name it. Stardock needs to block all human non-allowed locations from ever being decided for the AI to use.
Could you implement this please?
So these suggestions, are they doable or not? ;-) You said that you were neglected, here's a chance to change that. [e digicons]:)[/e]
There are some AI issues/possible improvements I posted recently, why don't you have a go at those if you're feeling neglected. ;-)
I played one game for close to 12 hours straight (with only short break times) and it only started to lag and slow the system down right at the end of that. That was 1.29.
Good ideas! =)
I like this thread. =)
Rainbows, rainbows everywhere... ;-)
Devs, what do you think about these ideas and others (and some bugs requiring fixing) that I've posted recently?
Good, Altar did the same thing in my latest 1.29 game. Funny thing was, Pariden asked me quite late in the game to help her defeat Altar, when he was just one unit. =) ;-)
