Although calling people who post "idiots" isn't exactly normal debate either. [e digicons][/e] Attack the argument , not the person . Best regards, Steven.

I think now, Sovereigns generate 2 mana per turn (or 4 with Attunement), Shards controlled generate 2 mana per turn (as of 1.09o), and Greater Mana Shrines generate 3 mana per turn. And AFAIK, you can have a negative mana generation rate, where you will actually lose mana per turn. And I would think, given that Heavenfall's Faction mod allows the Goblins to start with negative mana, you would go into negative mana eventually, which would have the effect of preventing any new spell
This is pretty much the first mod that I've felt any inclination to use. The factions are interesting, while staying in line with the feel and fluff of Elemental. EDIT: Unfortunately, it turns out I have no idea how to install this. The instructions provided seem to not work.
Actually, you need turn on "Use Mods" in the Options screen in-game. Best regards, Steven.
I hope so too. Communities need a little love and attention to reach the fullest potential, and I am sure this issue is no different. And it's also a good time to kill a few demons (now that Kael is involved, who knows a little about killing demons [e digicons];)[/e] ). Best regards, Steven.
You make some good points too. =) Best regards, Steven.
Yes. If they are the same, the earliest one wins - if they are similar but different the best spell description wins. I think that is a good rationale that avoids most conflicts and contest exploits. Best regards, Steven.
Although if there is one that is exactly the same as another, you'd probably have to award it to the earliest, as the only way two entries could be exactly the same is if the subsequent one is a copy. What about variations on a theme (or one edited slightly so that it isn't exactly the same)? Best regards, Steven.
You make a good point. And Stardock, could you make a "no smileys" option for posts, or certain text? Currently there is a) b) c) and 1 2* 3 which you can't turn off. ;-) Best regards, Steven.
Sounds good. =) Best regards, Steven.
Which is a big part of the reason I've come along for the ride with Elemental - after being very unhappy initially. Stardock is certainly a one-of-a-kind company. [e digicons][/e] Best regards, Steven.
KINGTS, maybe Stardock in this case could give an additional prize (or one less $25 voucher) if the similar idea wins a prize? It would be an excellent goodwill gesture by Stardock, and I think would effectively make up for the mix-up (and I think most people would give kudos for doing the right thing even though expenses would be increased a little). What do devs (including Kael) and players think? Is it feasible? Best regards, Steven.
Yes, I think this would be excellent and very-welcomed as soon as it is practicable (I mean, some would like it before that, but I think most would agree that they'd like to have those improvements as soon as there is reasonable time for them =)). Best regards, Steven.
Good idea. Best regards, Steven.
Last time I opened Impulse, the message for Elemental went from "Update available" to "Installed" once it had signed in, so for me at least, it's been fixed. You can tell when a subsequent update is nearly as big as the full game that something is not quite right, and that's it's best to cancel the download of the supposed patch and wait. ;-) =) Best regards, Steven.
Well that's just the way it is - what's in the past is unchangeable, but you can learn from it to prepare for the future. [e digicons]^_^'[/e] [e digicons]:sun:[/e] Best regards, Steven.
Although sales have suffered anyway. Anyway, the situation is as it is, there's only so much the devs can work on at once. I suggest, find another game you like and play that for a while, and come back in a while when (or if) you are still interested. Best regards, Steven.
Yes, this would be great if this happened. =) Maybe Elemental could go without rankings? ;-) Or only have rankings if all the players in a game wanted them? At least allow fully-featured co-op against the AI without rankings. [e digicons]^_^[/e] Best regards, Steven.
Yes, I agree. [e digicons][/e] Best regards, Steven.
Even the public health system in Australia (strained as it is) is better than nothing. Best regards, Steven.
Maybe allow fractions of prestige to eventually add up to another +1 pop once it reaches 1, just like with other "resources"? Then it could be a global +10%. Allowing the fractions would also allow, for example, the inherent Charisma bonus to be +0.2 (from 0 or from a certain level such as 5 or 10) to add +0.2 prestige and not be a waste (or too powerful) for a hero who has levelled up a bit and is stationed in a city. So what about Royalty giving +10% globally, and the in
I agree. +1 Prestige in whichever city the Royalty hero is stationed in sounds good. +1 Prestige in one city is still a good thing to have, without the devs having to try to balance a global percentage boost (which might be impossible, especially with multiple heroes). So I agree that Royalty heroes just add +1 to the city they are in, if they are in one. =) What do others think? Best regards, Steven.
Yeah, blah is putting it mildly. ;-) Best regards, Steven.
You have some good ideas Sethai. [e digicons]k1[/e] Best regards, Steven.
Quoting Svalkisalanazar, reply 1Great work man, Elemental will become one of the best TBS games I've ever seen : ) To bad it is going to take 1 year until it is. I am very P.O.ed and I have yet to enjoy this mess of a game.
Well, there are plenty other of good games right now. =) I suggest you find other game/s and leave Elemental for a while, or get a 75% refund for a player who doesn't like
Well, the number of people who buy a sequel based on previous games is not necessarily related to the number of people who frequently play the sequel. ;-) Best regards, Steven.
