As a simple fix, could you make it so that the only thing that matters is the alignment of the faction you are choosing, not the Sovereign's alignment. This would also help when people want to mod alignment specific spells for more than just the current two types (Kingdom and Empire). [e digicons]^_^[/e] Best regards, Steven.

It makes sense in a game called Elemental - War of Magic that the Elemental Shards have a strategic say over who wins the Elemental War. [e digicons]:D[/e] All that needs to be done is have a different icon and tooltip for mana of each element (Four Elements plus Life or Death Magic), and for spells that are not from an "Elemental" spellbook (eg. Combat, Terraforming, etc.) to be indicated which primary Element they draw from. It would also be cool if different element types co
I like this idea. It makes sense that mana obtained from Fire Shards could not be used to cast Water or Earth spells etc. What do other people think about this suggestion? Best regards, Steven.
Well, we are back to the egg-kip problem already post before... something can impacts the consumer market only if consumer have interest in it... Consumers don't need to have interest in it. Microsoft and the OEMs just need to start pushing x64 as the baseline on any machine that supports it and keep x86 to only preinstalls on machines that can't. It's something long overdue, honestly. Virtually all desktop systems sold for sev
I levelled up my first city to L2, chose Random Guardians and got 9 Swarm Spiders. Though I didn't use them to Swarm, I was ahead of the Power Ratings for quite a while after that. Is this meant to happen after just one L1 -> L2 level-up? Also, another bug. I had built the Temple of Hope or whatever and had +3 Prestige. Then I cast Fertility on the settlement, but the Prestige stayed at +3, town population growth was only +3/season, and Fert
Devs - can the title of this thread be edited please? Best regards, Steven.
mostly this is great, but the more i think about the decision to ditch essense the less i like it. mana maint makes sense for summons and enchants definately, but not for channelers because they cannot be dismissed and are largely permanent. i also dislike the idea of generating global mana at a fixed rate per turn because it allows the possibility of 0 or negative generation scenarios. and it leaves the question of what is the maximum mana i can h
Now that's more like it! [e digicons]\o/[/e] Best regards, Steven.
Good idea, but be careful where you say "Throw heads in with skins and hair"! [e digicons]:P[/e] (Sounds like a real witch's recipe.[e digicons];)[/e] ) Best regards, Steven.
I agree. There needs to be some (maybe based on cost of troops getting trained?) limit on it, otherwise it is way too overpowered. Best regards, Steven.
I agree. Without good programs that take advantage of 64-bit, why bother upgrading? It is a joint effort. Best regards, Steven.
they are doing a lot of the exact same things with 1.1 that they did with the beta. They are saying some stuff but ultimately keeping the community in the dark through the entire dev process. I mean I am not saying that this is necessarily a bad thing, but it is ultimately unnecessary. Since release, they have put out both full release updates and pre-release updates. Honestly, I think if they put out a pre-release ("beta") patch out with all
Some buildings could have a tag about "Only works for Kingdoms" or "Only works for Empires", in addition to those of who can build them. For some buildings it would make sense and you would have it there, taking space without providing you with anything. You could always destroy it and use the space for something you can actually benefit from. I actually think this is a fairly elegant solution, and I think you have hit the nail on ho
Yeah, but we are where we are. Hopefully we will get to somewhere good from here. ;-) Best regards, Steven.
When is the beta starting? Best regards, Steven.
Good idea riadsala, I agree. [e digicons][/e] Best regards, Steven.
Well, it will be even better if Elemental starts being very good with merely 1.1 then. [e digicons]O:)[/e] [e digicons];)[/e] Best regards, Steven.
First, I want to correct something about the victory conditions. It's true that there is a connection between the victory and the path you take in the research, but each victory condition also requires something besides the research, that takes most of the effort. In the quest victory for example, it's not that hard to get to the research itself. Most of the effort will be to explore, find and wi
Why not try to get support for a Vista/Win7 compatible release on GoG.com? [e digicons]^_^[/e] Best regards, Steven.
I agree. Fourthed. [e digicons]^_^[/e] Best regards, Steven.
I think all units are hittable on first turn (including archers), which doesn't always happen in standard combat. Best regards, Steven.
I agree with having just the one system. [e digicons]k1[/e] Especially when special Sovereign/Hero Combat abilities are implemented, which would be useless in auto-resolve combat as it is now. What do other players and devs think? Best regards, Steven.
Problem is you totally discount those of us who like to play a game with roommates or friends etc just to have fun. Not every game has to be a deathmatch competition. Those of us who want a MP clone of SP are mainly in this catagory.. PBEM would be no different for us than just playing it together other than the added wait of sending each other our moves after each turn... Why everyone insists that everyone who plays multiplayer does so in
I'm wondering, will special abilities for Custom Sovereigns be largely or somewhat scriptable, or will there just be a set of abilities from the pre-built Sovereigns to choose from? If you know at this time what is likely. [e digicons]:sun:[/e] Best regards, Steven.
So the reason why it is on Steam with no activation is because Steam itself is a DRM? Best regards, Steven.
