I couldn't get past the third level (following his path) on the Alexander the Great campaign. The Greek campaign is actually the hardest. Do it last. I think diplomacy played a critical factor in that one, because there were so many computer players. Napoleon was just gobs of fun. Do that one first instead.
Well, I couldn't establish a proper base in that third leve

I couldn't get past the third level (following his path) on the Alexander the Great campaign. No matter what I did, the computer always had more to throw at me. And in those campaigns, you tended to have to invade to get a good spot to start your empire. I'm not sure if you can get access to the enemy's supply wagons. How were you able to finish this level, and what cards (if any) did you use/need to use? Best regards, Steven.
Can be. =) Not all the time though, not in every situation. Best regards, Steven.
That is a total miscarriage of justice, no doubt about it. I don't believe that if someone is that close to the age of consent that the person should be labelled a sex offender just for one "technical breaking of the law". Basically, the judge obeyed the letter of the law while totally butchering its spirit. Best regards, Steven.
I could never do things quick and well enough to win (even against the AI) in Rise of Nations. It has that mechanic where your units lose health while in enemy territory, until you successfully found a settlement. The AI always seemed to have too many of the right type of units for me to get anywhere. Not saying that others would have the same problem though - I just found the game too hard, even on easy. (I do hope the AI didn't cheat, but it could have just been
A real eye-opener indeed. I echo Stmorpheous' sentiment. Best regards, Steven.
Yes, I see what you mean on all those points. Best regards, Steven.
Yeah, not many would sell a profit-making entity like Impulse (even if they would receive a fair amount of cash) because it distracted too much from the process of making good games. Almost all corporate moguls would never offload such a big source of profit for any reason. Best regards, Steven.
I think favouring the use of Impulse (after 1 year) will be relaxed somewhat now that Stardock no longer owns Impulse, but I don't think there will be a rush to put Stardock games on Steam in particular, regardless. Best regards, Steven.
They could be an alternative to the standard AI, so they wouldn't be giving away AI secrets. =) ;-) Best regards, Steven.
Sir Linque, and I thought you would die happy just because you were the first to post on the thread! But I see now that you were happy to see the improvements in FE highlighted in the video. =) Best regards, Steven.
So you didn't like the video? ;-) Best regards, Steven.
I agree with having an intermediate patch that fixes up bugs like the tactical combat freeze and others. [e digicons]k1[/e] Best regards, Steven.
TBH, I think it's better that we progress into nonsensical pseudoscience, because that's way more fun, and way less flammable than politics. I suppose YMMV, though.
Well, I find it difficult to comprehend any species discovering 100% about their world and their universe, let alone other universes (if any). I wouldn't know why a universe could be created out of nothing much for no particular reason, and then dyi
Although that might cause some quality problems. ;-) Best regards, Steven.
I remember playing the original Warcraft. Even though the campaigns slowly worked up to the most powerful units/buildings (like most campaigns I guess, so I don't know what I'm complaining about ;-)), the stories developed between scenarios were fantastic. Warcraft 1 was also one of the last RTS games that I could play at the regular speed (which admittedly was quite slow). Warcraft 2 was not bad, and Warcraft 3 was OK, but I have fond memories of Warcraft: Orcs and
Yeah, sorry about that. I should have read the twitter link. =) Best regards, Steven.
Let me guess, Steam exclusive. :-( I guess certain users will stay with Minecraft then (which I presume doesn't use Steam). Best regards, Steven.
How is this (the negative resources settlements) still happening in 1.2? [e digicons]:maybe:[/e] Best regards, Steven.
Actually in Pale Moon webgl.disabled must be true. webgl.disabled being false means it *isn't* disabled (double negative). Agreed it is quite confusing the way Pale Moon has done it, but basically the webgl option must be the opposite of the default, unmodded value in either Firefox or Pale Moon (that is, respectively, webgl.enabled_for_all_sites=false or webgl.disabled=true). Best regards, Steven.
I agree. =) Best regards, Steven.
Yes, please put mutual exclusivity into the mix, or RFHolloway's suggestion, certainly for techs and for many other parts of the game would be fantastic! It has been missing a lot in WoM, and having it at least in FE would make such a big difference to modding too. [e digicons]|-)[/e] Best regards, Steven.
Pale Moon doesn't have "webgl.enabled_for_all_sites" just "webgl.disabled". So in this case I think Pale Moon 4 *is* different to Firefox 4. Best regards, Steven.
Yes, I think the point of having a Stickied Bug/Issue Thread is to help the devs and the people who are providing useful feedback and logs/saves etc. It will not magically make everyone look at the thread, but you could argue that the people who are going to the trouble of posting useful files and feedback and worth supporting. So even if others don't look, they aren't reading most of the important threads and aren't helping the devs as much anyway. Not many th
Where there's life, there's hope! [e digicons]|-)[/e] Yeah I know that it sounds trite, but life can certainly surprise us. You don't have to be pessimistic to not be disappointed too often. ;-) Being somewhat disappointed some of the time is fine, or greatly disappointed occassionally, but life can surprise us in positive ways sometimes.
