Good to see you are still around, Raven. Best regards, Steven.
So Dosbox will work in Windows 8 with 16 bit games? Best regards, Steven.
However the 16 bit subsystem is going bye-bye AFAIK, so Gog.com will have to rewrite all its older games to be compatible with Windows 8. Best regards, Steven.
Apparently, at least if it hasn't changed from the original comment, in FE Dynasties will default to off but will be able to be modded in. Best regards, Steven.
I used your reported link to fix, installed the Microsoft Fixit update, enabled AHCI 2.0 and no errors, booted fine. Thanks! Best regards, Steven.
Even better would be Happy International Video Game Day. =) Best regards, Steven.
I agree. Best regards, Steven.
Yes. With regards to not doing backups, there are two types of people: those who have lost data, and those who will lose data. Best regards, Steven.
Are you really horrible? And are you going to be smoking in my car? :P Best regards, Steven.
Still, it seems like there are a lot of good points so far. =) Best regards, Steven.
The 1.39 beta version eliminates the prestige penalty. If you want to try it, read this thread . Best regards, Steven.
The prestige penalty will not be there in the next version of WoM. It is just a broken concept. Best regards, Steven.
I think part of the deal with Gamestop was that Stardock Entertainment needed to remain Impulse exclusive for one year from the takeover. I'm not sure whether there was also a requirement for Stardock to put FE on Impulse. Depending on the terms, they might need to put at least one new game on Impulse. Best regards, Steven.
Or Curgen's Volcano? ;-) Best regards, Steven.
I agree, although I wouldn't want to buy from Steam either, unless the game was not tied to Steam (ie. Steam couldn't take your access away) and also didn't use Steamworks. But direct purchase would be the best option for me if it could be made available for games as well as Desktop applications like Fences. Best regards, Steven.
So the_Monk, has Derek in your opinion become a fat cat suit? ;-) =) Best regards, Steven.
Although before the release, it would have been intended to be a real game. That old chestnut about trying to create an engine and a game at the same time with technology you're not really familiar with. Best regards, Steven.
BetterPrivacy can be used in Pale Moon too. Best regards, Steven.
I agree with FoW. Or at least make units in cities or stacks non-viewable by enemies unless they have a unit/special unit (like scout) near them. Best regards, Steven.
I agree. There is absolutely no reason why something like this shouldn't be in FE. Best regards, Steven.
Are there any decent books that describe Behavior Trees, and is that sort of thing necessary in a game like fheroes2/HOMM II? Best regards, Steven.
Fallen Enchantress (FE) is somewhere between an expansion and a full-blown new game in the Elemental universe. There is information and much discussion in the WOM forums, it is only recently that the Elemental forums changed from "Elemental", to "War of Magic" and "Fallen Enchantress". The existing forums became War of Magic forums and the new forum group was Fallen Enchantress. However for a lot of things, the WOM forums still have most of the discussion about Fallen Enchan
Thank you for the recommendations! I don't really want to make game AI my job, but I would look at getting into it as a hobby. =) Best regards, Steven.
Well, by eliminating support for Shader v2 they have eliminated a good chunk of bugginess. But we will get to see how much is has improved (or not :P) when we get a go at the beta. =) Best regards, Steven.
