I'm not so sure there is a boost to armor and weapon rating for groups. I think that the interface just encourages you to believe that there is. EDIT: Beaten by three minutes. ;-)

Yikes, I think that says a lot about how the US society had turned medical "care" into an expensive proposition, and how it can be a ethical thing to allow things like reduced price medical care and (fairly) reasonably priced private health cover, like you can get in Australia. But the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme in Australia subsidises many medicines, especially for those on a low income. I only wish you could benefit from some of this. Why should people suffer from no

I've just successfully restored an Acronis 2011 Boot Drive Image for Windows 7 Pro 32-bit, and also restored an image of my data and programs partition. It's certainly very handy being able to restore a (recent) image of an OS partition (made only a few days before my old drive stopped working)! My old hard drive carked it, and I've replaced it, however I got a slower (Green) hard drive since the floods in Thailand have dramatically increased the prices, especially of

DrJBHL and others, do you think it's worth upgrading to? I've heard there's been some bugs or incompatibilities or other issues, and I'm not sure whether these are fixed and whether it's worth upgrading from True Image 2011 to True Image 2012. It has some neat new features, but if the reliability is not there I'll stick with my current version (which is still compatible with Windows 7).

With an Object Desktop subscription, do you get to reinstall the individual programs that you haven't purchased separately if you don't renew? In other words, if you download one of the Object Desktop subscription programs that you haven't bought separately, can you still use them (if already installed) or re-install them (if not installed) past the subscription end date if you've backed up the .exe?

I agree that if it would require 6 months rewriting to get decent MP it's not worth putting in MP at all in FE. But if you made a system some time in the future where you had strategic MP and tactical SP, that would be something, for sure. But if that sounds like too much of a risk, even though if done right it could be a hoot and possibly have a big windfall, it's probably best to stick with SP only (with strong AI and strong mod support) for your TBS games. EDIT:

One option for the future if you want to include MP with tactical battles is to limit the number of turns the units with greatest initiative get in any particular battle each day (although I guess initiative could be affected by spells). I know that there is no such thing as rounds now, so you would need some way to work out approximately what one "round" is. But if each battle could only take a certain amount of game time and then you have to wait until the next day to continue t

Well I'm not saying that I like it, I haven't played it, and not sure if I will in the near future. But I know that not everyone hated it, and some quite enjoyed it. But it doesn't necessarily stack up to 2 (my favourite) and 3 (others' favourite).

Yes, I agree, I would greatly welcome a change like this - I think it would be a change for the better.

Might and Magic: Heroes VI got a good review in Australia's PC Powerplay Magazine, and it was reviewed by someone who hasn't particularly been a Heroes follower in the past. It was given 8/10.

I agree, this would be useful. I notice that Charisma is not mentioned on Karavox's stats sheet. Is this because it is not relevant to battle?

HOMM2 was my first HOMM game, and my favourite. And fheroes2 makes it really fun (not the least much bigger resolutions). The map seems "alive", and visually interesting.

Yeah, I'm interested too. With a dodge stat that big, he should be able to avoid almost all regular attacks (if it works similar to WoM).
