Doesn't he mean manually choosing your opponents when setting up the random map? Anyway, I know what you both mean, you can manually select your opponents, but it means you HAVE to set your opponents up before starting each map. Primal's way allows you to still use random opponents and still be able to select the Non-AI sides for your own use.

Welcome all. You can see we have an interesting (erm... I mean EXCELLENT [e digicons]O:)[/e] ) sense of humour (Australian spelling). ;-) Welcome to the Stardock forums! [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] [e digicons]|-)[/e]
I agree. Stardock has said that they do update DLC, and the Dead World DLC could use some tweaks as suggested here to really make it shine (er... or really moldy as the Dead like it ;-)).
Yes, it would be good if this bug was fixed. It has been around for a VERY long time.
It is a variant on the random Quest Map item, but customised to do a specific quest. I'm sure someone on these forums knows the correct XML syntax, otherwise you could try search (although admittedly the Search function is not the best). I've done it before, but I'm not sure if I still have the files.
Almost. I would say that "Depth does not 'necessarily' equal a better game." Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
When you get to the MaxActiveQuests number, you can't initiate any more overland map quests. By increasing the number, you can have more quests active at a time. I'm not sure whether Random Event quests count towards the max number of active quests.
I think so. I'll check it when I redo the others.
Okay, thanks for the tips. It also seems as if Nexusmods has changed its directory structure since I last updated this thread.
Probably not. I'll have to check.
All the best GFireflyE! I've had a hard disk fail before, but I had done a complete system image a few days before. It is hard disk failures that really underline how fragile data can be - if you don't have at least one backup (or more). Once you have things sorted out one way or another, I hope you have a fantastic year. =) Best of luck!
But what about the female units? They are spirits, so they might still be affected by the elements (except Poison), like Banshees are. It would be good to implement any changes to Undead skeleton monsters (and the regular skeletons which do not happen to be part of the Undead race).
AFAIK, Stardock gets more of the profit when you buy from them then activate it on Steam, than if you buy on Steam directly.
Well, from what I've seen of the Lost Forge, it is too hard. Something like 4 or 5 Titans casting Despair as well as some Dragons to Fear you so you can't take out the other Titans early. It's just a bit too hard for my tastes.
JUST RELEASED: Heroes of a Broken Land, an old-school indie dungeon crawler with some nifty additions such as multiple party dungeons, random events and multiple difficulty sliders to tailor the experience. wingedpixel.com It may on the surface seem to be a grind, but the wealth of tactics (both in dungeon and out) and ways of developing your characters make it a great little indie title.
Thanks tjashen for continually updating your Regularly Updated List of Mods for E:LH! It was great of you to make a commitment like that, and I think you've done a fine job in keeping it fairly up-to-date. =) EDIT: Oh, that was last page. ;-) Still, it was worth saying.
Okay, I've had two people reply. That's all the keys I have. Anyway, have a great 2014. =)
I've sent a Buddy request to you on Gamersgate. When you accept it I will be able to gift you the Anthology.
It's not what they are referred to, it's how they work. I just found that Crushing Blow was not resisted by Ophidians, and I thought that was because Crushing Blow sounds more physical than magical. Unless that has changed, there is at least Crushing Blow that is not considered a "magical" ability with regards to Ophidians. I think they tried to make it that special abilities that involve physical attributes were not resisted, whereas magical abilities were. Pr
Well, it's on gamersgate, which means that you essentially just download and play, it's not part of Steam or Gamestop. A PM is a private message. At the top of the page there is a Private Messages to click on. Anyway, I need your email address, so you either privately send me a Private Message, or you publicly post on this thread if you don't mind your email address being on a public forum.
Well, it is primarily a dungeon crawler with a little kingdom management and random events on the side. It is important to get out of the dungeon when you are low on potions. There are now customisable sliders for all levels of difficulty, so if you want an easy game with Extreme Item Quality and Double experience you can choose that if you want. The release version will have one or so more sliders than in the last beta version. Also, recently you get more info on Crea
If you're looking for Baldur's Gate II Complete (from Gamersgate, but it is the GoG.com installer without the GoG.com extras) to complete your set, please send me a PM. But if you don't have any of the Infinity Engine Games I have a Dungeons and Dragons Anthology to give away. But please don't ask for the whole set if you are only interested in Baldur's Gate II. I want the person who gets the Anthology to want to play all of the Dungeons and Dragons games
Last time I checked, they were immune to spell-type abilities, like Wraith Touch etc. but not immune to physical-type abilities such as Crushing Blow. I'm not sure if it's a weakness in the system or whether it's intentional, but all "Cast On Attack" or "Cast After Being Attacked" abilities always hit regardless of magic immunity (Shrink Mace, Curse item etc.). Same with effects that get distributed with Contagion - on each turn of that unit all negative effects get
I like these ideas.
What about Destiny's Embers? =)
