As many I'd prefer setting the units by my own - but hey that's some stuff maybe for 1.2 - for now it's fine. So thank you for the updates, when will there be a Beta update for us to play with these changes and see if they break anything? Today? Please?

Looks like some very good changes, looking forward to them. The game always was almost over when you get scallabas mace or whatever it's name is (1h mace, 32 attack, cast shrink on hit)

Hi there, yesterday I got up again and played 6 hours of Fallen Enchantress... and I must say I'm a bit shocked about the state of the game. Yes I know this is still Beta, but the final Beta. I'll try to keep this short... but I really hope that the launch gets postponed. I've been here ever since I've heard of the original Element as it's kind of my dream game... so I really want this game to succeed. <span style="font-size: medium

Unlike most people I'm highly skeptical. At first because this is a huge change late in the game design process, I hope that it pushes the estimated release date back by quite a bit. Moreover some of this sounds like it is making city spamming more attractive again, didn't we have lots of changes in order to prevent this? I liked population controlling so much because then it was fluent... now it's like "new city level - huge booooost!". I might be wrong as

I'm sorry to say this but once I get this votign site working, I will have to vote "Fair" (I was always "good" on the previous polls). Reason being simple, my personal feeling is that there are way more bugs in the game, at least for me, than in the previous betas (fewer crashes mostly though). my turn gets stuck and I have no way to end it my company always runs off to some location where they absolutely shouldn't go Notifications messed up

I'm not sure as my knowledge of Windows internals gets rusty (a good thing to me) but it's not about how much memory the operating system but how much it lets applications handle, which is different. I'm not 100% sure on the limits for XP vs. Win7 though. (for Coldsteel (in leetspeak))

With me it works when I alt+tab out of FE before starting any game (main menu), then alt+tab back in. Then I can also do this during the whole game session without problems. Also W7 64-bit.

Custom Faction is definitely missing from that poll... As I always base my custom faction on the Tarth I put Tarth but the abilities etc. of my faction are totally different. I hope that we stay flexible in designing custom factions and do net get limited by the Race we base them on.

It's presumably due to the $ --> Eur conversion - according to Google 39$ are around 29,7 € right now and they may use different exchange rates.

Hehe Always nice to see you posting about different defects that made the AI behave in a weird way.

I always play on large maps with 10 opponents (the 10 standard factions and I play my own). I usually don't get that far because it becomes boring for me as it is clear that I'm dominating everyone (playing on challenging, I always wanted to try hard but then the new patch comes with better AI so I stay at challenging). In 0.86 I'm still strong but not totally overpowered so I keep playing - currently turn 235 everything running very smooth even on my laptop. If I get fart

Personally the Ai also got the great mill before me (on hard) which I find odd since I was the most bad ass faction in the game all game long, it would have taken my 2nd best city something like 60 turns to build it so I decided not to. 30 turns later or something the AI had it, not impossible (well 10 enemies) but kind of unlikely imo... still kicking their asses though ;P

Thank you for making such a poll, I love it when companies do that. As for my vote, it went to the AI as challenging still bores me and I see lots of irresponsible behaviour by the AI ("Sure we can build an outpost right in the early game with nearly no troops next to this bone oger"). I'm amazed though that so many people want so much faction differentiation, I don't really care about it to be honest - imo it just becomes a balancing nightmare.

Sounds good carry on guys. Already noticed that NPC factions weren't taking over monster lairs, good that it's fixed. Let's see when I can get to thoroughly testing this Beta and maybe the next. Keep it going!
