But this way you have to look at every trait every time you level up - so do a mouse over for every trait. That's really annoying to me. I'd rather have the UI present it to me.

Hello everybody, when leveling up - at least when I'm new to the game, I have to hover every single trait to see how rare it is - I thing rarity is pretty important as I will rather pick rare ones even if a common/uncommon one is a bit better at that point in time. It would be nice if that could be indicated by some kind of color. Also it would be nice if they were sorted according to their rarity (rarest at the top)
Hey there, some people in the modding section (thanks to them!) have uncovered that currently there are no ultrarare traits, however some rare traits with extremely low likelihood (Path of the ...) - it would be nice to see some ultrarare traits in the game so we can really get excited when we see those - not just Path of the ... but some other REALLY cool and powerful stuff - what do you think?
Enough with funny titles. When will version 0.78 be released? I hope it is pretty soon as for me it contains (or should contain) the very important fix of the XP distribution among heroes which in my eyes will drastically alter the game as it won't be so easy anymore to get high level heroes. Therefore heroes in my eyes won't be seen as overpowered as they are right now and we could (hopefully) put a stop to all those "heroes are overpowered" threads.
Thanks for the research guys, was wondering about ultrarares. Too bad there are no ultrarare talents, I believe those should definitely be in and the spelling errors should be fixed :P
2, 8, x x = Improve the UI (Caravan setup, don't bug me with guarding units, better hero screens etc.) On a side note I originally wanted to post: hell doing that by hand I'll write you a nice ruby script but with people not exactly sticking to the rules and no clear way to define x manually indeed seems to be better.

AI on challenging and creature rate at dense - But I'm waiting for the next patch right now with the "XP FOR ALL" bug finally fixed and try that again on challenging before I go up to hard because that will really hurt my hero stack of doom ;-)
I like research - I'm always playing very research oriented so I always got better troops than my enemies. The only problem I got with research is that Warfare obsoletes my units pretty darn quickly and upgrading them is not really cheap. And that sucks, I often end up disbanding a bunch of spearman cause their wages are so damn high and upgrading them is also damn costy - so I need to hire new units... :-/
Hey thanks for fixing the XP distribution issue. This will most likely severely impact the way I play game and the way I dominate (or now not) the AI. However if I have to split up now I'm afraid that there is not enough for me and my heroes to do in the world - at least not without passing enemy territory and getting kicked out. I think it'd be good if you provide a save game and a debug.err I battled the big worm thing that comes out of a crack in the earth - no trophy or whatsoever - I was really disappointed.

I already had little problems with gold in 0.76. Mostly due to cities I conquer being razed to the ground and only costing me the costs of all their buildings but not generating any profit with population 0. And Armies really cost a boatload of money per turn I think that cost should really be reduced.

I think you can really tweak this other than making the AI more aware of the monsters... or cheat that when this happens the AI casts "spell of pwnage" destroying the monsters and continuing to exist.

Happened to me a few times but only starting from certain point in the game - before it was working fine. Was still 0.75 though. Didn't report it as I wanted to rather report the really important stuff. If I come across it again I'll post it on the ticket system including the debug.err - promise!

I really can't agree with you. Possibly this happens if you miss some important point but my heroes always get very strong very fast and are able to protect my lands pretty good. Also monsters mostly stay out of your zone of control which is good. Plus the monsters should be a real threat, you should aim to avoid strong monsters and build armies to defeat those big monsters before going further, building new cities and everything at the powerful places these monsters guard. My 2 heroes simply got at her and finished her of. Farewell kingdom of Pariden. Hey people, as I think Stardock deserves some praise and I want to share my experience so far with the Beta here is a short writeup. And possibly for all the people waiting for their invite lurking the forums. Setup I've played a game on the largest map available (large I guess) with my custom faction against all the 10 remaining factions. Difficulty all set to normal to get accustomed to Fallen Enchantress. </
