Yeah its really basic atm Honestly I wouldn't mind if the armor race had a few more parts to slow it down a bit, it gives you a huge edge really fast if you focus on it. Maybe add scale and chain mail. The current system is a huge improvement over the previous lvl 1 weapon to lvl 1 armor, to lvl 2 weapons, etc though. I just hope that we don't have to wait for an expansion for weapons/armor selection to be more of a

A bug ive seen for a few betas, but hadnt worked out fully because they have been coming so fast! I don't know if this bug is because I start on a map at the cloth level or not, it should be easy to replicate, just start 5-10 games and look for the 4 blank squares around mountains and hills. It seems that the main mountains on the cloth map don't show properly, but the issue gose away on a loading of a saved game.
Quoting marlowwe, reply 47I'd say wait until January for 1.1. There are still plenty of bugs in the game and they need to be dealt with before you start moving on to other patches. Also, this would be an excellent opportunity for you (and Derek) to see what the team can do with an extra bit of time. If there are plenty of bugs (i.e. not features) then we need to start discussing them. At this stage, we're getting pretty low o
The question I guess we have to ask is, do we, as a group want to have 1.09 (the released version) be the version through Christmas or do we want to move to 1.1 and then continue on to 1.2. Right now, we're in lockout so I can't really add more AI stuff until after v1.1. So obviously I'm anxious to move forward on that. But on the other hand, I am very keen to demonstrate to our fans that Stardock HAS addre

Looks fantastic. I assume tests like this are used to also balance the AI against its self., neat!

There is still a ton of debug code running Elemental right now so its slow, but it will be coming out soon. ok hope it comes out soon - i supose it isent easy to take out before staging - its a deve

Indeed, on normal the game dose seem like its easy to steamroll the AI, but that is normal setting, and many of us have now been playing for many months, their is a large learning curve with EWOM, that I believe many of us may have forgotten, if normal becomes too hard, then the 4 levels above it become much harder, it seems a little change at the normal level = a massive change at the other end. Their are many ways to make your game harder, you can
Supposedly, Studies evolve like Pokemon once the city reaches Level 2. In 1.09s with Gilden, that didn't happen ever. In 1.09s with a custom Faction it didn't happen. In 1.09t with a custom Faction, it doesn't happen. I haven't been able yet to try it with a non custom Faction for 1.09t.
Where the cities level 3? I though that was a bug too, until I realised you need a level 3 city
I hear you. It would be easy to allow the public to submit bug reports. We would get tons of bug reports. Some good, some bad, most somewhere between. Sorting through all that info takes time, to much time. We try to be open and communicate as much as possible. But it still isn't as much as everyone deserves. To do it right I would respect the
