I experience the same as the OP describes.

There is a bug with teh text or implementation, at present both forms of kingdom Teleport are identical. Only the stack leader can successfully cast Tele... at least that is my experience...
Isn't the Blunt weapons/Warhammer at the very bottom supposed to be with cutting weapons as a prereq to light plate armor? Is the Warhammer supposed to be worse than the mace? it states ... "This breakthrough allows us to craft War Hammers. There are few works of men as dreadful as War Hammers, for they represent pain and anguish. Blunt weapons requ
Thanks for the replies! Regarding 4 member units, I have them. They cost a ton to make and upkeep. I use them as I wage war against the AI factions. In my current game I have more food that I produce each turn (40ish) than I gold I produce. I haven't even tapped into all my food sources because I don't need to. When you have the caravan multiplying food, there is no need. What I lack is gold. W
The caravan will go back and forth between the two towns and every turn you get teh food bonus! I use Caravans for road building first, disband then send for greatest food bonus.
I want it but not until the Tech Trees stop regressing weapons...
Epic tactical confrontations in turn-based fashion I am assuming to be a bit annal but thorough...[e digicons]*_*[/e] I'm fine with Turn based battles ala AoW and MoM ...EPIC? even better.... But what about tech trees that regress technology?
T M I
First to the OP Thank you for pointing out the flaw of kingdom weapons progression which from Maces to warhammers is currently a REGRESSION...very bad in my book. But second to the OP Adventure is the best source of gold as the game currently stands so I do not want that nerfed. As others have pointed out, build a party or squad of macemen and backed up by a party of archers and you should be able to deal with all but the worst of wandering mobs. Bring in a champ or two to
couple more... + Ability to cycle through all towns , not just the idle ones. (The Pgup/Pgdn only cycles through some not all... not sure if that is a bug or not) + Ability to choose which unit is the LEADER of a stack. (you'd think that is one of the benefits of being a sov/king) + Make weapon techs improve upon existing items. (ie, a warhammer higher tech weapon, should not be worse than a Mace, lower tech weapon)
This is 100% reproduceable. Try it out. Maybe instead of crashing the game, the game should provide a warning that it will not allow a sov to imbue with it's last 3 essence. This is late in the mid game of a large map and my Sov had 17 mana so it was no evident to me immediately that it was my last three but I have three shards and several Temples of Essence. SD Please add this to your bugs to be fixed list along with the Kingdom/Mace/warhammer Tech tree. I
When I tried the game CTD. [e digicons]:S[/e] Am I to take this as the Dev's saying what the hell were you thinking? That's your Sov!!!!![e digicons]X|[/e] [e digicons]X|[/e] Well I was thinking it would be a really good caster champ and I had room in my stack and I was not to far from levelling my sov... Anywho has anyone else experienced this one? I'll load the savegame and see if it is repeatable.
So is it Roleplay/aethetics that you choose Battle Axe over Broadsword or Mace or Warhammer? if not, can you describe your rationale?
I have taken in a high dex/str champion and make him my Sov's personal bodyguard with all the best melee equipment. On level up I increase HP and Str/Dex on a round robin rotating basis. For others if they have a city stat like increases food/farm production by 20% then I park them in my best food producing city and they become the head of the department of agriculture, and also an temporary champion equipment warehouse to trade items amongst other hero st
I don't play empire but feel free to respond empire players as well, but please state what faction. I'm trying to understand what tech level most folks spend the majority of their games at weapon-wise. I tend to grab Maces+ Leather+ longbows by mid game and have been wanting to get better weapons. So for 1.08, w hat is the primary melee weapon you kingdom players are teching up to for your nonhero troops?
Sure, stick a champion that you are not going to develop/adventure with in that town to be your warehouse so to speak...
Prior to 1.08 I could not play on large map and even medium maps were a chore wading through all the OOM errors (win 7 x64) Since 1.08 im nearly 300 turns into a large map game and not a single OOM yet (knock on wood). So much improved - yes
I think you are over-reacting, but then time will tell for sure... Then there is the multiple requests I've asked for acknowledgement or clarification of why in 1.08 the Weapon Tech tree was broke (Maces being better then the next higher tech weapon) and I only get crickets from SD... so then again maybe you have a point...
hey Kyro or any SD employee? Can you comment on this issue? Is it a known Bug or by design, if by design, why?
Squares can be easily linked to a matrix. And that is easily understandable by an AI.
Not sure you understand what today's AI is capable of (or not cabale of) if you think AI can understand a matrix. If you mean a square matrix is a simpler construct/logic to program into the AI than a Hex matrix then you are only on the right track. However if you think of a Hex matrix as a matrix itself but each element is a
I turned off in game help advice and Janusk no longer shows up... your mileage may vary.
Yes, yes and YES! please!
People say you get crappy kids from Janusk because he is a low class champion. I wish there was some way to tell which ones were good.
Look at the champs stats... sort of like a background check... how strong and dexterous, intelligent etc are they? The higher the stats and better the starting gear they come with the higher quality they are...some(not all) of this is subjective.
Need more information... What units are in the stack? Can you provide a Screen shot?
Are you playing a save game from the 1.07 patch or earlier and now have the 1.08 patch installed? If so, I'd recommend to start a new game from scratch to see if this still occurs.
