Actually The Tech Fortification is supposed to be required but I can raze towns w/o it. So this issue to me is not so much a game mechincs bug as a documentation bug. The thing that seems beyond moronic to me is why at launch the weapons all got better when one researched weapons but after I think it was the 1.07 patch that after the MACE on the Kingdom side that the warhammer was a worse weapon, yup currently that tech tree regresses, and every patch I have an expectation that

Brad, Any chance you can fix the Kingdom side Mace and Warhammer, I really do not think it would be difficult for the folks who created it to swap the weapons around and make the regression a progression again... I mean who's idea was it to make it go backwards? or did they just not look at the context of the change in light of all the weapons in the both faction trees? I have to imagine this is easier than the AI to fix. So I'm stumped as to why it isn't.&nb
I am thinking that Razing a city shouldn't require a technology.
Is that because there is a bug you don't want to fix that allows one to raze towns now? (because there is) or because it makes no sense to have to research how to burn things down after a battle? I'd like for there to be a researchable Conversion option, say that allows me to convert a capture empire t

The Queued structures show up in the queue as small circular icons, to the upper right of them is a faint X. Click the X to remove them from teh Queue. Without a manual it is frustrating and there is a learning curve... Wait until you progress the equipment tree until your next weapons cost less and do less damage... Say What ?! yup you'll put points into research to research a worse weapon.... Intelligent isn't it?

Two things that I'd like to see most in the next patch (1.09e now) so I guess that is 1.10. 1) An AI that actually attempts to preserve/protect itself. 2) on the Kingdom side, please scrub the Equipment Technology tree stats to ensure that as a player progresses so to does the armor and weapons. It's been messed up intentionally since about 1.07. If you do plan to make it idiotic, please explain the idiocy of the logic of doing so. I truely want to

Just like Kingdom side equipment tech trees do not always progress as your research progresses, sometimes it regresses...It's like driving down the freeway with your idiot light on... But oh well...Just a whooops that is a major annoyance in an otherwise very addictive TBS game.

#6 is especially annoying. The pathfinding in the game actually works but is not optimized for selecting the path with the least movement point cost. That should be fixed. Pathfinding is an easy academic problem to solve, the most optimized path is a professional problem to solve. But it is solvable. #13's - Padded cuirass on the kingdom side is 3 the leather shirt is 2 defense. the Leather Cuirass is 4 and the leather armlets helm and grieves a

That way you have control of the married couples (and can keep them safe), you still get half the children, and your females can lead your armies. hey I always play a female SOV (thats me.. And finally airships...but lets not get teh cart in front of the horse... there's still a lot of bug fixin' that needs to be done and game balance including the AI to be better.

What Frogboy needs is help with the logic on the AI... I have seen his video cast of multi-threading the AI to enable it to do more, and that is a GREAT START! The AI needs a lot more logic, there are many, many smart and critical thinking folks here in these forums. Take them and invite them to post in a AI forum themed room and have different AI weaknesses in different threads to be strengthened. AI done right is a massive undertaking. Please do it right.

I think part of the problem also lies with the Area of Influence mechanic. Oupost/city spam increases populations and build queues as well as exponentially increases AOI. I think it's here to stay until it other mechanics change. This game has so much potential and yet is is soo lacking. I want it to be successful. I want the AI to have a self-preservation function to prevent it from doing reckless things, actually some AI factions should be reckless but

The last two patches/fotfixes have been full of typos, wrong tags, and all sorts of sloppy editing. Too much hotfixing because everyone is screaming fix it! How long did Gondor's Walls last? (LOTR:ROTK) That was one short seige for one long movie! ;P I do agree with earlier comments about mobile weapons for troops and fixed weapons for structures though. Fleet you do kno that by turn 200 or so... Level 5 City- that you can build a Tower of Erogg of some such that grant +2 mana point regeneration every turn to every caster? Earth Giants(8 Mana) mana regened at +3/turn = 3 turns Ice Giant (10 Mana) = 4 tur

I can select and deselect units but I cannot execute any movement or attacks. This is a new bug that I have not ran into before 1.09... pre1.09 tactical combat hangs did just that hung my whole game. This one behaves a little different... Anyone else seeing this?
