Well i've been holding off saying something because it was still early beta, and the game was not yet supposed to be any kind of fun (Plus only humans were available before so I was hoping we just didn't have more models). Hopefully this is still just in a conceptual stage, but the further we go along the less likely this appears to be... The Race creation process is abysmal! Right now all the races pretty much look identical to each other, there is very little flexibility or customiz

So awhile back FrogBoy posted a thread asking where they should put their focus. The vast majority of the posts were in favor of expanding the races, and based on FrogBoy's latest post it looks like they went in that direction. Part of that thread showed an a picture with an arrow saying "Race Icon will go here" - Yet I am unable to find this icon in any of my cities. If it's there can someone point it out? We need a way to tell what races occupy a city (Especially the

So what kinds of mods are you guys expecting people to make that you would NOT like to play. For me it's the inevitable Civilization clone...
So no magic? Or magic in an Imperial era setting? (Just curious - either sounds cool ;-) )
You lucky Island Dog!

Are we going to be able to make technologies mutually exclusive? So for example learning Tech A, makes it so you can't learn Tech B. ? This would be really awesome to help differentiate different factions.
This has been suggested before without a response. I would love to see a feature like this. Champions need more to distinguish them from units that give cities bonuses.
Well I don't think we need ALL that, but shapeshifting for sov's and champions would be SWEET!
Is no one else concerned that the Ogre didn't appear in the Unit designer? What if I want to make different kinds of Ogres? Will each have to be made as a separate unit type?
Agreed! Doesn't need to be a launch feature but something to add in an early patch...
Thanks Magic. Things are really starting to move along now. We have our first big meeting being planned, and general work should begin in the next few weeks!

Turns out they export them directly from 3DS Max and Maya. And also, cycholka directed me to link from Intel http://software.intel.com/sites/havok/ where you can download free plugins for 3DS Max, Maya, and XSI that allow you to export hkb's. Unfortunately, they don't have plugins for the newest versions of those so
Well I debated putting this in the Mods category, because the main reason i'm asking is for ideas for E:EE. That being said, it's a good general conversation so in the end I decided to stick it here. Anyway, what are your favorite cultures from various fantasy based worlds. Elemental already has the classic "Midevil Human" culture included (with all the Kingdoms). What other human cultures would you like to see in the game?
