im wondering if it's actually zero, or it it is a 0.25 bonus and the program is rounding the displayed digit to 0 (the actual bonus still stays at 0.25). is there a way to check? i have seen this ring also many times.

midichlorians, clearly.
one game I decided to do the opposite of what i had been doing: i went on an npc killing spree. i travelled around killing npcs with lower combat rating than i, taking a couple extra levels in move helped a ton to avoid the patrolling monsters. i had a level 8 sovereign in just a few turns. since ive got the hang of building up without npcs, even tho having them helps a bunch, and giving consideration to how hiring them give zero xp of any kind, i
1. mouse to move the screen is how i've been doing it, but i would prefer cursor keys as well or WASD map movement. 2. left click on npcs, then look in the lower left for a button to interact with them. mousing over that button will usually tell you their hire price if they are adjacent to one of your units, or in your territory. 3. click on the city, then look down on the right for the little circle representing your sovereign. left click him, th
About the housing, I believe level 5 is the intended cap on city size for the time being. The removal of housing having no effect on the city was also commented on here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/384247
i was thinking about this some more, someone correct my math if ive got this incorrect... gardens provide 2 food huts require 4 food therefore you need 2 gardens for every 1 hut, right? i propose increasing the food provided by gardens to 4, this way you only need 1 garden for every 1 hut this would reduce garden/hut spam by 33% - that's huge! or going the other direction you could make
Related to where this thread is at, I'd add my general frustration to the "anti-gaming the system" camp. I arrived at the point, though, where I realized that "to win the game I have to play the game". If Stardock is ok with their fanbase making mostly new accounts on various websites to make wishlists/email alerts just so that they can then have higher "fanbuzz", then those are the rules they set and I can choose to play by them or not play by them.
this is not the only thread on this issue, but i too experience this on games that last a while. win vista x64 4gb ram
the level of garden/house spam is to the point that i purposely march around until i find a site that will provide optimal food income via a farm/apiary/orchard/oases. on those "punishing" maps that have little or none of said optimal food squares, the garden/house tedium would be frustrating.
BoogieBac, a thought. From my limited (2 days) playing time, I've been razing parts of the city as I upgrade. When I build a Marketplace (6 gold, 4 spaces), I raze all Merchants (1 gold, 1 space). Now, how about allowing the Merchants to upgrade once a city has a Marketplace? They still produce 1 gold, but could also specialize, based on any special resources near the city. Or perhaps allow us to choose from a list,
Makes sense, cause its xx amount of food to BUILD a house...not maintain.
In my totalitarian state, industrialized cities (level 5) have housing demolished and replaced with more industry. My people can live in their workplaces for all I care; let them starve as they produce my tanks...erm...suits of armor.
I have been playing exclusively with the faction that allows for increased food production; I am unsure if this is something that happens with the other factions. I have also been playing exclusively with the "Miner/Organized/Ugly" sovereign so I'm not sure if this also pops up with other sovereigns. With these settings I have reproduced this 10+ times. What happens is that as soon as any one city hits level 5, I demolish every single building providing housing, any sma
I've noticed that after some play, some buildings hop almost all the way out of the grid square where they were placed. they can be demolished and rebuilt correctly. I do not know what causes this and have not been able to reproduce it, but it happens quite a bit. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8020459/Elemental%202010-06-11%2023-36-46-30.bmp <a href="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8020459/

At a point during a game I was unable to continue with the next turn. I saved the game, exited the program, reloaded the program, and attempted to continue. It allowed one single turn, but would not allow the next. All menus still work fine (units/cities/gamemenu). I am using Windows Vista x64. Is there a preferred method for transmitting the savegame?
Same error and general conditions. Vista x64.
The suspense is terrible... I hope it'll last .
bah, not the search police! if it's not on the first page, it didn't happen. seriously tho, thanks anyway. ;)
What regions/languages will Elemental be shipping with/for? Specifically, I'm curious about whether it will be shipping for Spanish speaking audiences or not. If not at release, will there be plans for additional localizations further down the road?

Yeah I guess you can put it that way, I just hope you do not waste to much time to get a prize I mean the with the amount of points some of you already have collected my guess is that you are gonna spend more hours than what is it worth. <br /
Any word yet on whether Beta 2 is or is not starting today?
lots of love for the enthusiasm, but there already is an E:WoM group. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/elementalwarofmagic edit: beaten to it!
Quoting kryo, reply 9As an addition since it has come up several times, please do not try to get points for wishlists on both EBGames.com and Gamestop.com. Both sites are the same company and share the same database, so you will only get credit for one or the other. ROFL, ok I'm guilty. I didn't know they were the same. But I was viewing unacom's quests...saw ebgames as one of his points, so did it myself. I'm go
