I post as "Foodstamp" on there. You need to start on that shining force mod! [e digicons]|-)[/e]

Where do you frequent? I used to be pretty active in Dominion modding. I hang out on the Shrapnel forums.
Here is one I did this week that would probably work for some elves: Side view:

I am also not quite sure why medallions require their own internal name.
Here is an example of a medallion that is located in units\icons working in game (Notice the bottom right corner):
You mean you have been adding Dominions nations to Elemental? That would be very cool :).
I love Dominions, so I have been adding a little bit of the game into Elemental wherever I can. Here is an example of how I have changed the Sovereign Creation screen to look more like Dominions: I still need to add Blood, Astral and Death; I put nature in to see how spellbooks work. They are very easy to implement compared to some of the other things in

Here are a couple of weapons from Shadowbane I would like to see: and The first is the Bladeweaver swords called Tlanarions and the second one is a long blade. The first one is meant to be dual wielded, the second is a two
quoting postMaster of Magic is the best game ever. The above statement is fact, not opinion. It's an opinion.
Naw, it's a fact. Like Krispy Kreme is better than Dunkin Donuts etc.

However, while searching for it, I found this picture which looks pretty cool.
I couldn't find anything better than the picture Gravedancer posted. The glowy ball thing in the middle only appears when in combat mode. The rest of the time it looks l
Thanks for posting this question. The next step in my mod was going to be trying to disable this ability and adding static units through techs :).
Very nice! I would love to see someone do this spear from DAOC: The end is comprised of bladed deer antlers. Would be pretty cool :).

I've never used the service but have heard good things about it. http://www.dropbox.com/
Dropbox got me through a lot of college group projects; I highly recommend it!
I modded them in :). I didn't really like "Ugly" determining the frequency of children because I am guessing these guys/gals being all powerful sovereigns can get it when they want no matter how they look.
I think they need to add a special trait just for Janusk to make the female sovereign balanced. Impotent.
You mean something like this: Notice Impotent at the bottom and Fertile up top :).
I think right now the monsters move randomly in the early part of the game. I don't think they do a check to see if the target square is occupied, So if you are wandering along with your sovereign/army on a square they want to move to, you get attacked.
I was definitely contemplating a "Sylvan" elf mod... new models, new tech tree, new buildings. The key to the race would be that they MUST build their cities on forest tiles. If they build outside of the forest tiles, they can only establish outposts. Of course, they could use spells such as "create forest" to immense effect... they would literally reshape the world as they conquered it.
I plan for this is
Your maps in Civ4 were incredible. I can't wait to try this out.
This sounds pretty much like the truth. Good job coming to terms with the truth of the situation and I look forward to seeing how the game evolves.
Good luck to the people who were laid off. Hopefully Stardock can recover and bring them back at a later date. If not, I hope you are all able to find new jobs hastily.
(What I mean by "pseudo-expert" : it is sometimes obvious that the Gamespot reviewer has not spent a lot of time thoroughly playing the game.)
Actually, if you read the article, it is pretty obvious the guy played the game extensively, on 4 different machines even.
Unfortunately, it looks like they are going to juggle features around again (Magic) before they polish and balance. This game gets a new look every couple of weeks with no regard to synergy between components or fixing game stopping bugs. The review gives very little opinion and is mostly a list of all the things that don't work; the score is justified.
It's pretty easy to make minor factions do more so I'll take your suggestions and do exactly that. Minor factions will focus on building one kick-arse metropolis but they won't expand.
That sounds perfect.
Minor Factions Please make them act more like regular factions instead of hammering them into deeper triviality. Spell Books Right now there is little holding you back from picking ALL the books. The point cost is trivial. This combined with the generic spell lines make Sovereign design pretty van
