The Trilogy is excellent so far. I picked it up off of Impulse and I must say that I'm very impressed. It's been a long time since I've played these classic games. If you can't use the mods on AoW Heaven though that would be a major disappointment. :(

I'd love to see that too. Truly unique factions with interesting quirks. I loved all the different factions in Fall from heaven II. Also, maybe I'm an old fuddy duddy but I'd like to see Halflings, Elves, Dwarves, Frostlings, Orcs, Goblins etc. like in Age of Wonders. I've been playing Age of Wonders again lately (thanks Impulse ^^) and I really love the classic fantasy races.

If I had any talent at all I'd submit a quest suspiciously close to this classic movie. You must quest to find fire to help your tribe be able to eat cooked food again.
