Well, I must say that the Walkthrough was very cool. I have always liked Druidish type characters. I do hope if you go fairly heavy into summoner books that you'll be able to summon some really cool animals. Like Dire Berserk Cave Bears and Assassin Blade Bats, etc. [e digicons][/e]

Boy am I disappointed I became a founder now... Just kidding. :P This looks fantastic. [e digicons][/e]

cIV and cIV: Fall from Heaven are the best and most fun strategy games I have ever played. Easy to learn but hard to master. Good pacing and multiple paths to victory. The AI was there to entertain and help you tell a story. (See Soren Johnson's wonderful talk on AI) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJcuQQ1eWWI The game was also extremely moddable. The designer Soren Johnson fought to get the source cod

I like the Seattle Mariners. [e digicons][/e] In other news, that sounds cool, I guess. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
These founder people are all ultra snobs, and think they are better than us down-and-out homeless people. They should share their wealth of knowledge and stop being so greedy.
Not much to tell about. Game looks cool with some pretty snazzy graphics. Faces, for example, look much, much better. :)

Stupid question, I'm sure, but I assume the game will be only 32 bit?

Well, I ponied up the $20. I'm really digging the artwork. Reminds me of Torchlight, a really fun dungeon crawl. Well not cartoony like Torchlight but some really nice artwork. :)

Glad to have contributed and happy it got funded. [e digicons][/e] I feel this game has real potential and I hope it can meet its stretch goals as you could use the framework to make a fantasy version of this or a Mongol horde scenario or many other cool things. Modding could really make this game shine.
I have to agree with UmbralAngel that this project being successful doesn't prove "a guy and a few friends make a hit PC game independently". Jon Shafer has a huge advantage of being the lead designer of Civ5, having worked on Elemental, being very-well known in game industry, being blessed/advertised by Stardock, etc. It's very easy to get publicity for him. I'd like to see a "nobody" with a great idea be successful. Then we can say "a

No matter how bad the kids turn out or what they are caught doing they never get demoted to office clerk or recess attendant. I dont need internet folklore. I judge Jon Shafer on what Jon Shafer says and does. Jon Shafer said things that turned out to be misleading and false about civ 5 pre-release. Jon Shafer did zip for customers who bought a game he recommended that was c

This game is definitely right up my alley. I have been waiting a long time for a game like this. [e digicons] I love the time period and your new game concepts seem very intriguing. I wasn't thrilled with Civilization 5 TBH (still don't like it) but I am very excited about this one. I'll be contributing to Kickstarter for sure. The only question is how much. :P

To my knowledge, no game has tackled this very interesting time in western civilization. Great Invasions was one such game. Brought to you by the man who made the original Europa Universalis. :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Invasions However, the era has been sadly neglected by game makers and I'm actually thrilled to see Jon taking this on. I love this period of time, I like the new game eleme

The new changes sound great except for Steam only. Paradox has announced that any new games of theirs will require Steam as well so that includes the upcoming Eu4. :( Not to mention Civilization 5. *Ugh* I'll be getting Legendary Heroes for free but I doubt I'll play it due to the Steam demandment. Pity...

Some very encouraging news. More homage to FFH is great news in my opinion. I love the little animated dudes in the city. I know it's really just eye candy but it helps bring the world to life for me. Can't wait for the next beta. :)
