For example. RANDOM EVENT: Another player has found a large beehive colony and is willing to trade it to you in exchange for 5thousand of your citizens to be sold into slavery. The person offering is also the opposite of your race(

[quote who="klaxton499" reply="28" id="2468145"]Rather than pick from a list at character creation, I'd like to see these traits develop organically as the player makes in game decisions. Build lots of troops=Warmonger Build lots of Inns=Leader Develop lots of treaties=Trade bonus Questing=Adventurer. You get the idea. Even present the player with some early decisions. The forge needs rare metal to construct an anvil but the farmers are comp
What about customizing how your sovereign prioritizes and biases certain aspects of the world of Elemental? Such as; Honey Affinity (lulz)- Your Sovereign has grown to obssess over honey within the last several years. Determined to suck the world dry of all honey, your Sovereign will go to extreme lengths to collect as much of the sweet ambrosia for himself. +10% food production, +10% building speed for all honey tiles(costs points) Sword Rebuffer- Your Sovereign, who'
Actually, you are completely correct. However, elemental takes place once cities start to populate the world, and at that point, resources are no longer in as much demand as specialized labor. Once the problem of scarcity is relieved, people begin to persue specialized craft, and that is what you see as soon as you create a city, how else would you be able to actually research new technology? Someone has to be capable of researching. People don't have the free time to learn such things in a s

It sacrificed much of the mod-friendliness, depth, and intelligent gameplay of its predecessors in exchange for brighter colors, a single-player campaign nobody cared about, and some sort of truck that looked suspiciously like a Warthog. Tribes 2 was far better. If
[quote who="Allegiance86" reply="275" id="2464521"]SG1 was lackluster, but it had good intentions. SGU is just lacking, and in no way has good intentions for protecting the SG Franchise's founding ideas. Theyve thrown everything out that makes an SG show SG. They barely go off world, I get it theyre on a ship, technically their always off world. But the fact is, youve got drug addicts, sex addicts, a slut, a guy that cries about his past, a kid that is socially akward, a lesbian tr
Thats a massive bug fix right there. Damn. You guys are weeding out a lot the buggars
Looks great, thx for the update. I am really looking forward to this godly game.
I have a few "different" games that most here haven't played or haven't mentioned... Tribes: Vengence (Very unique fps) Dead Frontier (Top down MMORPG/Shooter/Survival/Horror/Thingy Majiggy) Impossible Creatures (Oh the nostalgia) NWN2(repeat) Any of the Pokemon games Final Fantasy 3 for the DS and Final Fantasy I and II for the Gameboy Advance/SP The original Sims and all of it's expansions as released in the "Sims Ultimate Collection"<
Mass Effec, Dead Space, The Suffering Series? They might not be the best games of the decade, but I am surprised that they weren't even nominated. My nominee would have to be Bioshock....seeing as it is already on here, my nominee is Galciv2...damn....seeing as it too is also already on here my nominee is Elder of the Scrolls 3: Morrowind...fuck...seeing as it too is on here my nominee is Fallout3...wow. I love you guys.

Yeah you can tell they need a better technical advisor :P. What I am yearning for is some interaction with other sentients or some kind of discovery. isn't that what the Stargate Franchise is about? Discovery? Its always a great feeling when something brand new is explained in depth with a coherent string of events.
In almost every case, the original is the best. This is true with the Sims series. After the original sims series, it just got horrible. The cost for expansions has ALWAYS been too high with maxis and EA games, but I got the Ultimate Sims1(has every expansion pack for sims1) package for $15.00 from a friend who couldn't run it on his comp. I recommend purchasing or bit torrenting it.
1. I gave "Jericho" a try. While it wasn't the most groundbreaking game out there (being a first person shooter) it did have a LOT of unique characteristics for a FPS. I have yet to see the same style of tactical combat replicated in any game. 2.Another game that I tried and really didn't expect to enjoy, but did, was Tribes: Vengence. This is one of the best shooters I have played, not because of the graphics(which i don't care much for anyway), the voice acting, or even the online m
ah i see. Mk. Yeah we get the next episode December 4th and then midseries break! WEEEEEEEE. Fuck it.
This is exactly what I wanted. Yay.
I just saw life. Did Matt kill himself at the end? It looked like he was in the broken shuttle and I coulda sworn I saw some blue gust fill it up. Hm, although this was basically the "drama" episode, it made perfect sense. The title is life, literally hinting that the episode is about life. They used country music, infamous for its retardedly depressing lyrics about how fucked some random guy's life is, and everyone is having a REALLY bad fckn day, except that one
Wait....wait wait wait. Are you telling me, that you guys actually PURCHASE videogames? With your own money? Thats just insane.
