I'm starting to regret posting the pic of the pony. Any minute now someone will start a thread saying that the pony is OP and needs to be nerfed.

As I recall from my GalCiv 2 beta testing days, Stardock did do a "gamma test" restricted to a subset of the beta testers. But with an announced release date, I agree with Trojasmic, it won't happen with FE.
I've been wondering the same thing. I think caravans still exist in the game, but only if you make an economic treaty with an AI. Legacy of Serrane seems like it should be removed, though.
I think Imperium can get fucked if there is a city built too close.
That is indeed what has happened in two of my games. If a city is built within (I think) 6 tiles of the special buildable tile in the wildlands, it renders the wildlands quest unachievable.
Here's my sovereign on her new pony, and the pony's stats: The quest I got the pony from is called "The Lost Horse" and I had to fight an ogre to get it.
In my current .992 game I have 2 towns, and the other AI's I've encountered have 4 each. On this map my starting location looked great, but I had to travel a LONG way to find fertile ground for my second town.
Woot! I got the pony!
This bug has been reported in every beta. A saved game was provided in this thread, but the problem was obviously not fixed.
You can now see the traits of your current faction on the create sovereign screen (if you mouseover the faction name)
Hooray for this!
Agree, see my bug report here. I've also seen the problem you're reporting, with pathfinding going out of its way to keep you out of enemy territory. (Which doesn't seem to affect the AI, does it?). Also, in my .99 game, I tried to move a champion out of a town, only to see him automatically scurry right back into it. The only way I could get him to move out and stay out was to move my sovereign out, and t
Ah, that's interesting. I had reported the Achievements crash in this thread , but thought it was a .99 bug. Turns out the last game I played on .983 was a conquest victory, so it's the same as you report.
I just tried it again without trying to start a game, just hit control-tab from the main menu. Same crash when I try to look at achievements. So apparently it's related to that, not to starting a game.
After installing the .99 patch over my .983 install, I started a game, customized a race and sovereign, and got to the "Creating World" screen. While that was loading, I hit control-tab. Nothing happened for a few seconds, then my starting location on the map was shown, and the map faded back to show the Chat/Friends/Achievements menu. I clicked on Achievements and the game crashed (with the Windows "Fallen Enchantress has stopped working" message. No dump file was c
I haven't looked for it recently, but in earlier betas problems like that happened with swords and shields as well.
I had both of those directories and deleted them before installing the current beta. They're not needed.
Wow, must have been a tough battle!
I know to delete custom sov is right button, but...how do you delete custom factions?
The custom factions and units are stored in the My Games\FallenEnchantress directory structure. Check the Race and Units directories.
The missing attack bar after autocast spells is supposed to be fixed in .984. The delay on sweep was reported yesterday, so hopefully it's on the developer's list, although I've seen no confirmation of that. But thanks for confirming the report, that's at least 3 of us who have seen it. Was the dragon that didn't use its abilities a solitary beast, or part pf an AI army? I've seen single dragons use fire breath but not sweep. I've
I haven't had any problems just applying the updates, but I do delete any custom factions, sovereigns, and units I've created in past betas,
I've seen this also, but neglected to post about it. Thanks for pointing it out.
I like these suggestions.
Yes, I reported that back in .95 in this thread. It doesn't really affect gameplay, but it sure can be confusing to the player.
I would expect it to be fixed before the game is released.
I certainly hope so.
No action bar doesn't equate to no moves, if a character is hit by Titan's Breath
Did you read the whole thread? It also has happened to me with Contagion and Mass Curse. Those spells don't remove the ability to cast spells or use abilities. And besides, in the original post, my champion had resisted the Titan's Breath, so he should have been able to use spells/abilities.
Wow. Just wow.
