You have to wonder from this example if the road algorithm avoids rivers at all costs. If it just crossed the river it would have a direct route.

There were multiple problems found in the beta when you reloaded a game without exiting all the way out to the desktop. I don't think all of them have been fixed yet. Are any of you doing that? That said, I did have an army duplicate itself after a battle in my last game of the beta on .992. I haven't seen it yet in the 1.00 campaign.
I know you knew that, but I wanted to point it out to all the newbies reading the forums since Tuesday.
You have to either play Pariden or make a custom race with The Decalon trait. Then you have to research a tech, and after that the spell books appear in the shop. However, I think the tech is not appearing in the magic tech tree in 1.00 for custom races. It worked in the last beta drop, but just before release the devs made a change and I think broke it. Edit: Sorry for taking so long to type up my post, I see the question has already been answered.
I originally wanted to install these so that my old eyes could see the essence circles on towns. But now I wonder how I ever was able to play intelligently without the spell mastery/resistance display on level up. Great job!
If I recall correctly, the city has 2 essence, so you can cast inspiration on it.
I haven't had any crashes yet on 1.00, but I happened to look in my Program Data\Stardock\Elemental - Fallen Enchantress folder and I see zip files containing a dmp and a debug that are produced whenever I exit the game from the main menu. Just like what is normally produced on a crash. Those aren't intended to be there, are they?
I used SDC to install on 2 laptops, one Vista, one Win7. I uninstalled the beta on both before installing. The Vista install ran into the External Installer crash, but (as for most of you) the installation eventually continued and installed ok. The Win7 install went cleanly. I have no idea what the difference could be, I have a lot more stuff installed on my Win7 machine than I do on the Vista one.
I noticed that it was changed for champions & sovereigns. Perhaps just not for designed units?
On that note, is there any way to remove the injuries from champions who fall in battle, or are those permanent debuffs?
As of the last beta, and I believe the 1.00 version, the only way to heal injuries is to find a special potion through a quest. There are people who are talking about mods that could include new buildings that could heal injuries, though.
Thanks very much!
I've never installed a mod for FE, but these sounds so good I'm salivating. When installing, do I put the files in the Screens folder found in My Games\Fallen Enchantress\Mods\, or in the Program Data\Stardock\Elemental - Fallen Enchantress\, or in Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\FallenEnchantress\? I tried putting them in the Mods\Screens folder, and turned on the "Use Mods" option, but don't seem to be getting the mods.
I can;t speak to the mana issue, but units being cloned after battles is a relatively recent bug that was reported a couple of times on .992.
I moved my army out of the city and it cloned the army
I just had a similar experience on .992 and updated your original thread with a screen cap and my saved game.
This happened to me as well on .992. I attacked and took the city of Deorcnysse. After winning the battle, I noticed I had an army still outside the city, instead of all of them moving into the city like they usually do. What I discovered had happened was that my sovereign and two champions, and all of my mounted mages had moved into the city, while my Shieldman had stayed outside, with cloned copies of the two champions and the mounted mages. Here's a pic:
This bug is still in .992.
Can you just take it over?
Yes, I can, and did. Perhaps it's not a bug, but I didn't think that it was intended that the wildlands could have outposts.
Procipinee built an outpost at the edge of Abliex's Wildlands. At some point the outpost was taken over by the influence of the wildlands, so that it became attached to the wildlands. I think this happened when a spider army knocked out another one of her outposts nearby. Anyway, however it happened, after I cleared the wildlands, the outpost remained, owned by the "Denizens of the Wildlands". You can see it here: <img src="https://dl.dropbox.com/u/500397
Last game I played I was indeed prevented from razing a city for 5 turns. Sounds like the AI again not playing by the same rules.
What option are they attached to so that I can view them again??
Pedestrians, I think.
I really hope they can fix this problem. But GalCiv2 had a save problem too - if you reloaded an autosave, all planets that had finished production were left idle and you weren't notified of that. Despite complaints, it was never fixed, even through the Dark Avatar and Twilight of the Arnor expansions. So I've been doing frequent quicksaves ever since GalCiv2.

A darkling shaman cast shrink on my sovereign, and she shrank visually. OK so far. Then I had one of my champions cast growth on her. I think the attack and dodge modifiers were applied correctly, but the visual effect was that she shrank again. Here she is after the growth spell:
