Isn't there a limit of 1 Guardian Statue per faction? Sounds like a bug.
The collar to tame Ascian(sp?) left inventory without being used after checking it's range in battle. Moved up after checking range and on next turn it was not select-able. Quick reload and use without checking allowed it to work.
I saw something similar. Clicked on collar to see if I could use it on one of the new creatures (the rino-like one), found out I couldn't, did a regular attack, and the collar disappeared. Didn't try an immediate save/r
I'm on my second game on a huge map, and I have yet to see any pastures or twilight bees. I have resources set on dense, and have seen wild grain and fruit groves. Were they removed in LH? Or have I just been unlucky so far? The tech tree still refers to building pastures on wild game tiles, so there might be a bug here.
This sounds similar to a problem that Derek had due to an inadvertent double right mouse click, or perhaps it was handling one right mouse click like it was a double. Anyway, check the .51 change log in the LH support forum, I think you'll see a fix listed there.
I use the consulate a lot and the high tower fairly often. I will occasionally use one of the others.
I reported this back in the FE beta (along with several others). Presumably it's a factional amount that rounds down to zero for display purposes. Looks bad, though. Can it be fixed this time?
The old settlements completely disappeared from my overview and I only see a few of the new ones I captured. Looks like there's a limit on how many can be displayed or something.
I haven't had a chance to get that many cities yet. In FE you could scroll through them top to bottom with the mouse wheel. Is that no longer available?
Huge maps are really really awesome! The only problem I've found so far is that a) pioneers take forever to get anywhere, this makes the arcane outpost spell and master scouts trait really strong compared to smaller maps (maybe make it so that you can mount pioneers too?) and due to the bigger map size you will have a lot more cities which generate an unreal amount of unrest, which is hard to control unless you plan ahead.
All
However, upgrading "group size" instead of it being given is more fun.
I think this is a great addition to the game.
Thus my game is focused more on specializing my champions, exploring and researching the green tree.
I like to play the same way. The only reason I won this game in 95 turns was that if I hadn't cast the spell of making, Resoln wo
After winning my first game of LH, I exited the game and the LH window disappeared. Shortly thereafter I tried to start a new game, but got this message: Checking Task Manager, I see that LegendaryHeroes.exe is still running. It's using about 12% of the CPU, for what, of course, I don't know. Memory usage, at 1,357,012K, is not going down. Little, if any, network activit
Just finished my first LH game. I played it on a huge map, hoping to flush out memory issues for the beta. Man, huge is really huge. A 95 turn win via the spell of making, and I was only able to explore about a quarter of the map. BTW, no memory issues. Only crash was on one of the setup screens. Very minor other problems. This beta is light years ahead of the FE beta.
I have Firefox as my default browser, and didn't have any problems. If it's Firefox, it must be some specific setting that I'm not using that's causing it.
This has been reported a couple of times. Did you happen to notice if one or more of the darklings had a level of -1 on the battle summary screen? If so, that's what caused the problem, and a developer says it's been fixed.
If this really really annoys you (like it does me) you can turn off "Auto Select Next Unit" in the options.
The Kingdom Report still shows what level champions you can recruit and what level quests you can start, even though this is no longer restricted by your research in LH as it was in FE. Edited to show problem is still in .75.
Possible similar problem with Theatre. It says it will increase growth, but increase gildar and fame instead.
The Festival says it increases growth (which it did in FE). But the details show that it only increases gildar:
This was reported in the FE beta and never got fixed.
Here's another example. My whole army, with one exception, is in the lower left. The one other unit is in the upper right, completely isolated.
Also, it seems that Raza the Wild cannot equip either an Emerald Skullcap or a wooden shield. Is that intended?
I just picked up a Glyph Leather Helm, and while I can equip it on my sovereign, I can't equip it on my champion Ulfnir. I don't see that it has any special requirements. Is this a bug?
This is the same as it was in FE, isn't it? I don't remember it being mentioned in the FE beta, but I know that I, for one, have just been putting up with it and selecting a different item or customizing colors since then.
In another thread it was pointed out that if you're clicking on an army that is already selected, it does not zoom to the army. But if the army is different than the one you selected, it does zoom. Is that what you're seeing?
Here's an example of bad unit placement. The defenders unit at the bottom was so far away that it was out of the battle. The unit got only one turn and the battle was over before they could take another one.
I had just clicked on the map name (to see what would happen). There was a momentary glitch in the music, then the windows "has stopped working" box popped up. I later started a new game using the sovereign I had created (instead of creating a new one), clicked on the map name as I had done before, but no crash.
