Your last screenshot of the tactical map is of one of the new tactical maps that others have also reported bugs on. It seems that some of the tiles are bugged such that units cannot move off of them. I hope your saved game helps the developers fix this.

I'm glad I could help. I hope your files help Stardock to debug the problems.
The debug.err file is generated each time you start FE/LH. It records hardware and software configuration info and a log of events for that session of the game. You can find it in your Documents\MyGames\LegendaryHeroes directory. Since it's recreated on each start you'll only find one. Most of us who have been beta testing for a while use DropBox or a similar service to pass files to the developers. DropBox is a free service that lets you store files on
You both might want to provide a link to a debug.err from one of your crashes so the developers can see your hardware and software configurations.
Just speculating here, but #3 might be the infinite turn "Command" bug discussed in this thread. For #1 and #2 the developers might appreciate a saved game that they could use to recreate the problems, if you've got one.
My AA is set at 2x, so I don't think that's the problem.
I've played this game for 45 hours so far, and I'm astonished at how few bugs I've found. Compared to the FE beta, it's a finished product.
MaxTotalTileYield can now be set in ElementalDefs.xml (for modders)
This is going to make some modders very happy.
I've seen similar problems, especially on some of the new tactical maps. It seems that where you see the mouse pointer isn't always where the game thinks it is. I've usually been able to cast spells or do attacks when getting this message by moving the mouse around, essentially "pixel hunting" for the right spot.
After moving next to a haunter army, a window opened up for a message from the haunter. In the haunter animation, it looked like he was supposed to have a staff (or something) in his right hand, but it was empty:
It does have to do with loading a game within a game. I started LH from Steam and loaded my last save. I then checked the tech tree and it was fine. I then exited the tech tree window, hit escape to get to the main menu, and loaded the same game over again without exiting the game. The tech tree looked like this: My save
Same problem reported by multiple people in this thread.
In .51 it says "+%50 Growth when Producing Growth". I might argue with the odd capitalization, but it seems much clearer now.
I just confirmed on .51 that scrolling the mouse wheel while hovering over the map name does indeed cause the crash.
This is a known issue. Although, I'm pretty sure it has to do with memory.
Memory or video memory? I had reloaded several saved games without exiting LH, which I remember caused memory leakage in the FE beta but I thought had been fixed.
This morning it had reverted to the old jpg - even posts that were made after the update have gone back o the old pic. I've uploaded it again, let's see if it sticks this time.
The education tech in my latest game is blank and does not show a pre-req line: I have not seen this in previous games. If I exit and load a save it doesn't show the problem.
Ok, thanks. That's certainly better than having to move units out and then back in to change armies, but I expected to be able to either click and select, or drag and drop.
On the previous turn, the tile pointed at by the arrow contained 3 wolves. When I hit the turn button, the animation showed them falling over like they had been killed, but after the animation ended the tile still showed 3 wolves. When I moved my army to attack, there were no wolves there. I loaded the autosave (from which I took the screenshot) and it showed that the tile was empty.
Is the Army Management window supposed to allow you to do anything? If you have 2 stacks on the same tile you can open the window, and it shows the two armies side by side, but I haven't been able to see how you can do anything with them. Is this perhaps a placeholder that will be enhanced later?
There were no highlighted squares showing their move radius. However, if there was a monster within what their radius should be, they were able to move to it and attack it if I right clicked the monster, but could not move if I right clicked an open square.
That's what I saw. I'm in the habit of moving next to a monster and then attacking, so I didn't try right clicking a monster without trying to move first.
When Ongr says "You gonna eat that" you'd better give it to him.
From the .51 changelog: - Fixed the Dagger of the Leech I wonder if was a general fix or if the items you encountered need to fixed also?
I wonder if that's what I ran into last night. I had a pure melee champion in a battle who was unable to move, and without any ranged or spell abilities he just had to pass. He was on the edge of the tactical map just like your spider is pictured, but I didn't notice whether a grid border was missing.
In FE I never seemed to find a lot of champions and so never used them for administrators. In LH, with the extra unrest penalties for more cities and the choice of champions at each fame level, I find myself taking an administrator early and moving him around to the city with the most unrest.
