*puts down Age of Wonders for a sec* Did I hear that FE beta is soon? Great news, please move all WoM resources to FE development, I doubt anyone who is still sticking with this is looking forward to WoM patches more so than FE beta/release Pleeeaaaaaaase [e digicons]:pout:[/e]

Back in Medieval times water was not important and ships that sailed far enough would sail off the edge of the world so they just stopped making them entirely. Rivers were not researched by most kingdoms as they usually spawned in enemy territory anyways. There were rumors of older civilizations being able to transform their military units into boats at the touch of the sea in hopes of adapting to this predicament but public reception was mixed.
This is probably the wrong place to ask this and I'm sure its been answered elsewhere already (I did check, I swear!). Can we get an estimated release date for Fallen Enchantress? May/June, a few months, by Christmas, or spring 2012 (hopefully before end of the world)? I remember back in February that Frogboy stated that there will be no boxed or retail version (excuse me if this has changed since), and with the recent sale of Impulse this mon
For a bugfix patch with a lot of buzz put out half a year after release it sure is disappointing playing (aka testing) and seeing the same bugs that have been around since launch. On the bright side Fallen Enchantress looks promising. Hopefully it will be released soon so I don't have to wait a year to truly play the game I paid for as advertised :D
1. Will multiplayer be a viable option? A lot of people got screwed thinking they could play multiplayer with WoM. And its still listed in all the online ads for the game. Honestly if multiplayer for FE is just going to be a stripped down version of a SP thats proven to be flawed in a lot of ways, you might as well remove MP and focus entirely on making SP awesome (and stop advertising the MP so poor fools stop buying the game thinking it will replace Civ or AoW w/ friends). </p
Its very stable now according to the majority that is playing, I heard mention of fun being added, or at least new features in 1.3. Someone personally went to the office to complain advise (?) about tactical combat and the complete lack of skills/strategy so I'm crossing my fingers on this one. Right now for me its a slow race between Civ 5's promise of actually providing modders ability to mod the game outside of raw
AT RELEASE: E: War of Magic: D high expectations paired with poor release Civilization V: F did not run at all, purely 2k's fault Starcraft 2: A Great production values, huge anticipation Fallout: New Vegas: C+ same bugs from FO3's release, nearly unplayable, what was I thinking preordering a game END OF 2010: E: War of Magic: C wow Stardock is really working fixing major
There are actually quite a few "major games" that have released with 64bit. Not one that's ever actually needed it though. 45% of computers on steam are running 64 bits OS's, excluding macs. Did anyone at stardock tally the 64bit vs 32 systems during the Beta? If you were to weed out the majority of MomPCs from the steam numbers you could very possibly have a majority in the 64bit category.
I don't know
Retribution includes a dark crusade style conquest campaign map too right? Also I heard that it drops GFWL! Which means friends and I may go back to playing multiplayer again :D
Quoting FutileEmotion, reply 17- We would work around it. We would use phones to dial out into foreign ISPs, and in the meantime we would see massive riots as twelve million WOW subscribers took to the streets. If you do your research it was obvious that the government simply pressured the service providers via phone calls until each had shutdown their portion. It didn't all go down at once, but had a few minutes delay between each one. In other words, SkyNet will still win, you are all doomed, make your time ha ha ha, ha ha ha.
I might be a bit biased but I still prefer my cooldown solution from a couple months back. Though I'm sure someone has made much longer and more detailed suggestions like that before and after my post. A decent cooldown system could be used for the almost non-existant abilities and maybe planned ability/upgrade system if there is one in the works still and is very familiar to rpg and strategy gamers alike. Seeing a lot of repeat complaints/confusion every time I visit*cough*adventure
Wow, E:WOM is going to be really polished after 1.2 is released.
Honestly I'd hardly call getting things to freakin work in the first place 'polishing'. Honestly calling any of the last few patches polishing is really insulting to those that bought the game at release :P But I do have a lot of respect for Stardock for working on fixing a game that has a lot of potential while many others would just let this
I don't think the problem is with monster or AI player armor being too high. Rather, the problem is the player having too much armor on his units and champions. This can create invincible units that can steamroll anything. If I were you, I would hard-cap the mitigation of armor at 80%, 75% being the marker for armor equal to damage, and 80% being mitigation where armor*2 = damage. In addition, currently the AI never uses shi

Are there plans to make a strategy game called Stardock: Frogboy Journals anytime soon? If so I recommend the default difficulty level be set at Ridiculous. Though I'm not a fan of the paperwork minigame, so please make that optional in game settings.
Known Issues There is currently no way to target a unit in an army for a strategic spell (without breaking him out of that army, which is a pain).
Has this been fixed? I remember hearing that work on this got pushed back from 1.1.
I was going to write a long response but I'm just gonna give you the TL;DR version. If you already bought Elemental and haven't played it wait a couple weeks and it should be a solid game. If you haven't bought it yet you are probably gonna want to wait till the stand alone expansion Fallen Enchantress comes out unless miracles happen with Elemental patches before then. Right now the majority of patching is getting things in the game to even work as well as working on standard things

A stand-alone expansion (which is an oxymoron ) is treated as something closer to a new game then a standard expansion is. As such, it will be more likely to get some new reviews, which will
