Its pointless to have multiplayer in a turn based strategy game. If that happened then turn based strategy might adapt to the times and start becoming really popular. Oh wait, didn't Civ pull that off over a decade ago ? Personally I am hopeful FE gets a real multiplayer mode so I can grab Stardock a few more sales and play with my friends. Of course no one is going to care about trying out a mode where tactical battles are always automated to use an extremely

A single tech tree is what this game needed 2yr ago. Especially since awesome ideas like rare/common techs were dropped and we can see the entire tree(s) now civ/galciv style. I get the funny feeling that at this rate we will drop one tech tree each game until the 4th game comes out and we finally have a single awesome tech tree that makes sense.

Also had this happen with first city on several occasions. It seems to be related to killing mobs, so just go around not attacking anything [e digicons];P[/e]

One hero per party limit, xp is divided amongst battle participants. Problem solved. Is now a reason to build regular troops and you don't get screwed over if you aren't able to snag heroes early on. Personally I find after gaining a few levels and picking up all the OP loot that my research doesn't get close to until the end of the tech tree I just have my heroes in one group destroying everything with ease.

The popups are probably the most annoying thing about hitting end turn. The pop-up system needs to go away completely, no one likes pop-ups especially ones that force you to make a choice immediately with no info. My favorite is hitting end turn being told to choose a tech and then being forced into battle before I can even do that :D
In that case I'll add something everyone else has probably requested a bunch also: how

Interesting idea. That alchemy quest's, mana to gold spell, might fit in well with Gilden :D

I think a lot of his improvements are put into the Challenging AI. Make sure you test the AI at that level as some of the things you noticed the AI failing at, it may be utilizing at that level. I might be out of date on this but the theory is that the AI will get smarter until it is at Challenging level, and then it will start cheating at the higher levels (bonus stats, production, etc).

No lie, I just convinced my friend to buy Civ 4 complete so we could play FFH2 :D I think FE will still be a good single player game but its activity level will probably mirror WoM's in time (people checking in every few months to look at changes). I think Frogboy is a great AI programmer but I think this is probably the hardest type of game to program AI for and that even the most mediocre player will be able to mop the floor with the best AI man can create due to

Huge disappointment. I think FE will be a good SP game though. I hope the next one will have multiplayer so I can enjoy it more than a month or so and even convince friends to buy it! Archaic single player only thinking only works if you have Skyrim level hype and a history of putting out Oblivions. Even Civilization 6 would probably bomb if it they gave an excuse like "drop multiplayer to focus on single player". Its that kind of thinking that has all but killed the genre.

Eh, its not like this is Skyrim and you can get away with that. I think dropping multiplayer completely is going to be a horrible choice if this is true. Imagine if they came out with a Civilization game without multiplayer? Personally I'd be pretty upset as it means a few less people I know will be getting it (hard enough to convince people this isn't just another WoM with the title!) and I'll have to play alone running circles around AI, which if WoM was any good example isn&#39

Oh there was a bug with Maul's penalty? I guess I was right when I thought that it was a laughable change since it didn't actually work :D

Is there going to be any emphasis on multiplayer for FE? The original WoM seemed to think it was a great idea to ignore that its not the 90s anymore and people like playing with friends online. Meanwhile it advertised a multiplayer experience that was only added months later and was lackluster even compared to the single player experience. I haven't heard anything regarding multiplayer yet and I would be interested in knowing what it will be like. I see there is a m

I saw the double nerf (to the weapons and the skill) and thought "this is nice, but clearly not enough". At the very least the negative to accuracy needs to be percentage based, and something more like -50% cumulative (-50%, -75%, -112% aka no chance). All the laughable -3 accuracy and lower damage do is make it so I have to go and make a sandwich while my sov hits nonstop low damage against something until it dies. Instead of making it annoying to use but still overpow

I kill them all, less champions for the enemy factions. You can click on them for equipment details too, you always get the weapon they are using in my experience, sometimes this is really high level stuff. Can be nice to have a Boreal Blade or Spell Staff, some are really unique too like the mace that casts shrink (at 100% every time I think).

Game, ruined.
+ Tarth males cant wear the ladies satin shirts anymore
For .75 tooltips don't always pop up when choosing elements during character creation, not sure what causes this but I either get tooltips as normal or none. You will only know what apprentice and disciple ranks give you if you have played this game too much already :D

Seems like there is a good variety already and I love the concept though.

I think the magic is either overpowered or underpowered. A lot of spells are very mediocre, while many others are gamebreaking. For instance right now a lot of people are focusing on the more obvious OP spells that utilize initiative (a concept thats OP atm anyways) or large amounts of damage. There are also a lot of overpowered less direct spells especially on the strategic map, for example there are some that would allow you to destroy ANY npc or player army easily such as Tornado whi

Bizarre issue with the Mist/Shroud(?) wildland too. I conquered the city and my first city disappeared without a trace. The border was still green and all I got was this lame empty city who's only difference seems to be that it has no border for me + darkling militia(which is weaker than normal kind:P). I'm staying away from wildlands until Thurs, they break every game I play [e digicons]XD[/e]

To prevent outposts from becoming like cities perhaps they should be considered more like fortifications that you can upgrade with gildar or the like. Could be like Outpost 1 radius- snags those resources you place it by Fort 2 radius - gives defensive bonus to stationed units, adds garrison Castle 3 radius- larger defensive bonus, better garrison, can train military using nearest town for production bonus like resources (sometimes
