That doesn't mean the drivers you are using were made past 2005. :) Which video card and driver version are you using?

Good read, and I thought the same thing about the good land thing and the mana accumulation. I just started another game and immediately got the worst imaginable scenario: My sov started on a small peninsula; just enough to create a first city if I really want to. Buuuuuut, the choke-point is nearly blocked by a Drake Army and something else with 100+ hp. All surrounding land beyond this peninsula was desert or swamp. Not a good first experienc

It's pretty simple, WinXP users: when MS is dropping most support for your OS, AND your OS is a decade old, it's time to upgrade (or dual boot for the majorly obsessive) if you can't find Win7 for less than $200 (legally), typically you're doing it wrong

Whether this is truth, rumor, or a mix, I suppose that is still anyone's guess. http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/news/63825/New-Baldur-s-Gate-Game-In-Development-Teaser-Site-Live
That's what I gathered too. My guess is a HD remake.

To alter the cities or surrounding land for each faction would be awesome. While the kingdom versus empire land and building differences are already a start, I would ideally like to see some differentiation in the city's buildings. You're going to
I feel the greatest differentiation comes from the domains. Each sovereign, each faction, has its own views on what the land should look like. Not all of the empires would want to make the world a blackened wasteland, not every kingdom a land of ponies and rainbows. Let some factions spread icy tundras, horizon-spanning deserts, cover the world in trees, create vast swamps, sweeping plains, chaotic nightmares, etc. The domains can be purely cosmet

This drove me insane in WoM. If I begin a game and scroll directly up (towards the top of my monitor), expecting to move North in the map. Yet according to the mini map, it looks like I'm moving North West. This confuses me greatly.
