So I was doing one of the essence potion quests. i tried to double-click on the ring next to it to outfit it, but instead clicked on the potion. Poof! It was gone. Of course, I then would be unable to complete the quest. While drinking the potion rather than completing the quest should be a viable option, couldn't we at least make sure the player wants to do this? Also, the quest should insta-fail if you do drink the potion.

I got 3 different recover potion quests. I recovered the first one, but I didn't know which place to take it to. Could we somehow have a marker to show the destination of a particular quest?

First time I tried to load an autosave (from my current game, as I'd made a mistake), the game crashed. I restarted the game and got the same bug as the OP. So I quit the game, restarted it, and loaded the autosave again, and it worked. Annoying though.

LOL. Frogboy owned everyone with his supposed "anti-AI" statement. [e digicons][/e] Lots of good things here. Can't wait until the beta this week.

Sorry, but I'd love an anime mod. I like anime almost as much as I like PC games. And fantasy anime is even better. Add something "cute" to an anime mod and I'll play it already. Kawaii! [e digicons][/e]

Totally agree. And I still get crashes, often every 100 turns or so. There are memory leaks, and the game can crash from memory with only 5 towns, and the whole game graphically slows down with AA applied, even on my i7 920/ GTX260 system.

Arg. Has this quest STILL not been fixed! [e digicons]#:([/e] This quest has been bugged one way or another since before Beta 1Z.

I love your games as much for the AI as anything, Brad. I love strategy games. But after I could beat every new strategy game's AI after only 10-20 hours of play, I realized something was wrong. Gal Civ 2 was the solution. You can only do so much with a small team and limited budget. Let the community suggest stuff, and the modders make stuff, and all will be well. And keep up the good work! Make water AI work correctly for once, Brad, and I will trust you forever. From Age of Empires to Empire: Total War, my faith in the ability of AI to use water correctly was lost a long time ago.

[quote who="Annatar11" reply="5" id="2665921"]I can't really find a compelling reason to have dual monitor support. Other than a "world view" display, there's nothing that would belong on the second screen. It was half-useful in SupCom because action was fast and you had to constantly keep glued to The Big Picture, but this is hardly going to be the case in Elemental I think. I don't see it adding enough real value to the game/gameplay, it would just be a "Hey, dual moni

For sure. Some of my favorite games have poor graphics. And I don't play FPS's, so there goes the biggest graphical hog. Of course, I'd prefer good graphics and good gameplay. But I don't think I have a single game I've bought for the graphics. Even Dirt 2, which looks awesome on my gaming PC, I still bought more for the gameplay.

Even I recently bought a few games on Steam. Mass Effect during the EA sale for example, because Steam is less DRM than SecuRoM. Just pre-ordered Monkey Island 2 as well.
