I zoom in on a town, and FPS drops from 90 to... 10. [e digicons]:([/e]

I'm certain there will be some sort of update to fix this issue. Stardock doesn't normally leave people like this.
The game is less epic in scale than I expected, but that's fine with me. I agree though that the language used seems bigger than the game itself. Make it more of an "intimate" game. But embrace it. A "city" of 1000 should be huge in this world. So make me more impressed with it, or else awed that the land is so devastated that 1000 IS huge. That's my only issue with the scale now.
Do you people speaking out against piracy honestly have NO pirated software on your computer whatsoever?
I have a couple of abandonware games. That's it. Stardock is a company I wouldn't pirate from if my life depended on it. I've bought all my games from them full-priced. I just respect them as a company that much.
I couldn't find any stones. A little more textual help on this quest would be great.
This had better be in a patch. I want to customize my character to be perfect over multiple plays.
This will probably be just like Sins of a Solar Empire, where netbook res was never added, but a mod was released to allow it to play at that res.
Any progress on the memory leaks that cause the game to slow to a crawl? Kyro posted in this thread https://forums.elementalgame.com/391534 , but I was wondering if you guys had figured out anything yet.
Here's my pastebin. Experiencing lagging as well. http://pastebin.ca/1923556
Wow, this sucks. Take legal action, if at possible. Even if it will derive you little monetary benefit. This trashing of indie developers cannot continue. And wow, thanks for the early release.
So I don't get it. Why do we need to uninstall it at all? It'll be delivered via update, right? So what's the point?
Why not ship it media mail? The place I work uses it all the time, and it takes 4-6 days. 3 pounds will set you back $3.20 or so. I can wait; I won't even get home until the 30th (in Montana on vacation right now).
And honestly, aren't you guys all about not hurting the paying customers? Technically speaking, someone who plays it for free is not a paying customer. You are, and the game functions perfectly for you, but if someone else wants to play it, it's perfectly reasonable to expect them to become a paying customer. That said, some leniency isn't a bad thing by any means, families traditionally share after all, and while they woul

Whether for good or bad, it seems many have to catch up with the new reality. @Beric01 "Pretty much every LAN-capable game I own even outside of Impulse can, though most games I own are older games." In the interest of fairness why don't you list the games you mean and the year they were released? I have games so old that you had to use a paper wheel and match up symbo

I paid the $80 up front for the limited edition expecting to be able to do that, as figured it was worth it. Now it appears if my brother wants to play a game with me on launch day, I'll have to pay another $50

If the book is good, it might become one of the few I've read in years. Wish it came with the limited edition though. [e digicons]:([/e]

I'm more of a singeplayer person as well, but please make it work for multiplayer. The AI needs to be able to use it on me as well. The AI should offer me diplomatic offers, and they should have value. This resource needs to have actual value. As charisma of diplomats discussing deals between nations cannot be modeled, why not make DC have actual value, like a trade good, or being able to use it to force players to do something they wouldn't otherwise do? Zoomed in looks very pretty, but the symbols of what things are are far less clear in the 3D, vs. the cloth map. I like seeing things close though, so I find myself reluctantly zooming in and out all the time. Something isn't right, TBH.
I couldn't get it to install on my SSD, unfortunately. But yeah, not expecting a big improvement in loading times here.
Definitely recognize a bit of GalCiv myself. Not that I don't like its music...
I haven't noticed any sound choppiness, but the menu background did seem to be a bit choppy. I've got a GTX 260, so no problem there.
