Ughh. Steam is giving me crap at school. I will have to wait until I get home from work....

Ship building, decent ship to ship battles and abilities that enhanced a hero's sailing and naval fighting abilities.
I think that is also more of a Expansion thing. To do it right you would need new items, monsters, mechanics, goodie huts, resources, traits, and more. I think the best DLC would be a quest pack that added some long deep quests with some

In hindsight, it was a mistake to spend the resources on all the mod tools we have because those are resources that could have been put into areas that appeal to most players and the mod community would likely have been able to accomplish nearly as much.
Well thanks for what you have done Frogboy.
New Leather armor designs for Tarth. New Leather armor designs for Yithril. Known Racial Abilities Altar: Rush. Sacrifice an attack for another action. Wraith: Wraith Touch. Drain Enemy health. Krax: Fortify. Already in FE. Trog: Berserk. Increases attack but you lose control of the unit. Quendar: Flame Tongue. Deal Fire damage to adjacent foe. Amarian: Unknown. Tarth: Unknown.
Working on some new stuff for this. Right now I am finishing up a new kingdom faction. Somewhat based on the Mongols they are a horsemen and nomadic race/faction. I am having trouble coming up with something cool in regards to their blood trait. I would appreciate any ideas anyone feels like sharing. It's tough to make standard humans be unique. I am also thinking about adding a Giant race and a Dark Dwarves race eventually as well. The Giants will be tough but have more expensive

That should have been the alternate method of victory.
Every Wildland can't be Wearloga though. I would like to see Wildlands serve dual purposes. Firstly they should be monster preserves that stop expansion and contain several levels of monsters that respawn endlessly. That way
I think the game would be improved if there were different upgrades/units/techs that made your army good at killing big monsters versus killing armies. Sort of like the way the overpower ability makes increasing numbers not the best way to deal with monsters that have it, or the fact that sunder is useless against armies, whereas it grinds to dust Mr. Grinds Mountains to Dust quite a bit sooner in the game than might have been intended.
What you call fast clicking is actually simultaneous planning and executing those plans. You don't fast click because it is the cool thing do to, you fast click because one game on average lasts 10-20 min and the game is fast and you need to do your best in that time. Combats lasts up to 10s and so on. You see the funny thing is after playing the game for 1h your brain feels tired, not your fingers. So you see, it is not about fast clicking
I bought Starcraft half a dozen times and played it to death. I also bought Wing's of Liberty which was a half decent game, but the always online stuff ruined it for me. I will not be wasting money on any expansions. I don't feel the need to pay full price for what amounts to a new campaign. That's just not why I play RTS.
1. Currently we seem really limited in our ability to create new terrain. There doesn't seem to be a way to create new terrains that function like forests and have both 3d graphics and 2d cloth map art. How this is implemented is up to the devs but it shouldn't require any UI or AI updates, although it might take a fair bit of coding. This is a rather large limit on our ability to expand the FE universe and I would like to see it changed.

I would also like the ability to turn the AI on as 1 appears to do nothing. As for the Map Editor: -Rivers are impossible to place as they never line up. -Some p
We haven't seen the modding community grow at all since FE came out. In particular the lack of map and stamp mods is very telling. The most obvious reason for this is the map editor is almost impossible to learn to use and has dozens of weird glitches. Such basic forms of modding shouldn't require you to jump through so many hoops. It's a shame such awesome tools like the particle forge get wasted. I would like to use it but having to figure it out from scratch would
I have started a bunch of mods I have had to abandon because there are so many hidden little limitations. LH looks like a solid improvement and makes me want to play the game. I doubt however I will be modding it much beyond updating existing mods. I know Stardock is busy but still mod support has been none existent and we have no documentation whatsoever. For instance they add support for adding user created campaigns but don'
So I have been working on this a bit but running into some problems. Most importantly this tag appears to do nothing. 1 I really want to have missions where you play versus real AI opponents... and I don't know if it is possible. I can redesign my scenario around this limitation but it is a real bummer and really drains my enthusiasm.
Thanks for the bug reports. I have updated the mod to take care of these issues.
What we badly need is an entire patch or two dedicated just to improving modding. I doubt LH will ship with many mod improvements.

Look at the Nordic Countries for instance. There are several countries with lower inequality and comparable or even higher standards of living then the US. The main problem seems to be bad mana management from my experience. To fix this on higher difficulties the AI could get a mana multiplier and/or free/cheaper strategic spells. This would be much better then the current system where they get free traits on units.
You finally rid me of my money and got me to support this. It was the supply system that did it for me. I like all the little new creative things you are doing like winter, supply, and gifts.

An article by The Economist on the minimum wage in America. It focuses on the economic fundamentals. It is a little technical, but this is the Economics section. I work for close to minimum wage and was joking just the other day with coworkers that Baxter the robot could do my job easily, although they pay me so little they would still lose money. http://www.economist.com/blogs/democracyinamerica/2013/02/

I haven't done much of that sort of modding, but as a bit of a guess... it sounds like maybe you have defined a custom for the units for your custom race? If you look in ArtGameItem.xml you can see that each type of armor has a list of 's that can wear it. So if you created a custom ModelType for your race you'd have to add it in there.
Pretty much, although not all art files are in there. Ea
