@Heavenfall. Wouldn't Kylo Ren have recognized her then? Also why the hell would anyone ever do that? Luke's supposed to be a Jedi master not a completely out of control emotional spazz. Based on what I saw of the movie, and its many plot holes, I doubt we'll get a satisfactory answer. Rey's unexplained badassery is just an example of lazy writing and bad tropes. The answer is going to be because JJ said so and it allowed him to have a cool fight scene.

I'm not a fan of Star Wars so I'm judging the movie on its own merits, and I found it sub par. Honestly no unbiased reviewer should ever have given it more than 3 stars. It just wasn't a great movie. I think that after the prequels everyone was just hoping for another good Star Wars movie so badly that they are ignoring all the reasons why SW:TFA is worse.
I agree completely with the OP. All this bandwagon love of the movie confuses me. It's not good. So many plot holes and stupid stuff. I also hate how it makes Luke's entire journey in the first movies entirely pointless. Um, so one of his student's somehow manages to kill all his other students, while they're all under his tutelage; because he's been seduced by some Sith lord who came out of nowhere and is never explained, but everyone apparently knows. Thus Luke g
I don't really use the computers in libraries. In fact I never even bother to use their Wifi because where I live they require you to get a code from the librarians to access it. I could totally do that or you know I could just walk across the mall and get free totally uncensored Wifi from Starbucks, Tim Hortens, or even Pizza Pizza. Then I can download all the porn I want from my phone or laptop while just sitting on a bench in the hallway. [e digicons][/e]
So I have recently gotten a lot of good feedback from the good people at Web Fiction Guide . This led me to do a lot of editing and rewriting. I have also stayed on top of my release schedule so quite a few new chapters have been released. Feel free to check the story out.
I just recently started posting some chapters of a story I'm writing called The Iron Teeth. It's a dark fantasy online story . I know a lot of people here are into that genre of stuff so I thought I would give you all a heads up. I will be updating it every Sunday and Wednesday. Each update will be a chapter between 3000 and 4000 words. Synopsis: These are the Iron
Wow, how am I just learning about this now? This looks awesome if a little familiar . [e digicons];)[/e] In Blood & Mana when I had a mechanic like stamina I called it Adrenaline. Also feel free to rip off some of the non stamina related racial traits from B&M. There are some really interesting ones there if I say so myself. Especially for Tarth, Krax, and Tr
In 1968, Supreme Court Justice John Marshall Harlan II spoke on behalf of free speech: “One man’s vulgarity is another man’s lyric.” Works of art evoke diverse and deeply passionate responses in people, be it positive or negative, and as a result, have been the target of numerous censorship efforts throughout history.
I haven't followed Gamersgate much, I read the news but only one or twice has it reached the news sources I follow, but
Some people have said that Sorcerer King looks a lot like Legendary Heroes. What do you think people mean by this and what would be the most effective way to make sure the two games are visually distinct?
A big part of this is how armies are displayed. The OP pic is good example. I have never really been a big fan of the current system so I think you should look into making some changes. Some ideas are: -Make the units slightly smaller so they
Dungeon of the Endless My family only knows I'm alive because I keep swearing at the top of my lungs when I die. Such super fun and challenging game.
They mentioned monster lair ZoC.
From what I understand along with a few new features it will mostly be about backporting all the engine improvements and gameplay tweaks from SK to LH. I can't wait for monster ZoC. I have been asking for that since the FE beta. The current system just doesn't work very well.
Crystal Golem coming in the next patch...
Awesome. How did you make it?
50% off. [e digicons];)[/e]
Smarter tactical battles: Thanks to bpalczewski, the tactical battles are getting better. Still working on this though.
I will have to give him some Karma. Would love to her more on exactly what you are improving. Also I hope this can be back ported to LH.
One regret I have in LH is that we didn't give each faction their own unique damage type so that players could design units based on defending against that unit type.
[e digicons]:S[/e]
Question: Can the priest get more favors?
Probably they will get favors from sovereign levels. Maybe they could have access to a unique church improvement that gives them another favor when built, or how about when they kill one of the SK's lieutenants. Things to use favors for: -Creating fertile land for a city. -Summoning a powerful unit. An Angel or Lightbrin
Bridges are something that I have been waiting for since WoM. Having rivers just bisect roads and having units magically crossing rivers quickly is just annoying.
Cool some nice stuff there.
@Derek My #1 suggestion for a small balance tweak, do something with the dang Fast unit design trait, pls. It's boring and used on 90% of custom units. Great to see an update coming.
Seconded.
I'd like to see more tactically interesting bosses. Some example powers:
Have to say I agree. Boss battles in FE were badly designed and boring. The biggest problem bosses ha
I have always thought a lot of depth and fun could be added to tactical combat simply through better unit role design. Have different enemies require different tactical strategies. Force players to innovate and experiment instead of repeating the same rush to gang beat enemies every single time. Repetitive AI is a large problem as well. Here are some interesting enemies... -Units that can sit back and stall melee units using movement restricting spells or waves of dispos
Pictures please! Also I'm looking forward to seeing the xml for these new charge based abilities.
Oops. Accidentally mixed in some city defender stuff from B&M. I fixed and uploaded.
