1. to create a floating city you must learn/research the "Buoyant Earth" spell 2. pick a city to cast it on. 3. the cost of the spell rises exponentially (something the people helping the demigod team should get) with the city size. It should cost both mana and essence 4. Its should also cost mana to both maintain the cities place and to move the city. 5. If the Channeler can not or chooses not maintain the city or the spell is negated, the city will cras

option 3 does sound good, It seems with that you don't have to focus on the economy if you don't want, while giving you the option to be a min-maxing facist

To be honest I like camp 1, It remind somewhat of the good settler games (2,3 and 4ish) I would love to see the same sort of system again where it was initially complex to set up, but once it was up and running you rarely had to look at until there was a change in conditions. Its the perfect example of an elegant sophisticated economic system. You could go on raids in that too to steal stuff. That being said I would go with system one during the beta and then ajust the
time-travel In the future we will build a machine that can take us back to the past. Trying to settle the endles debate of is god real we will mostly go and see. In the end probably find out that not only there is no God but it was a bunch of time travellers messing with people. Imo religion is way more trouble than its worth and most of the time is used a scapegoat for violent and unlogical actions That being said its more of an issue with religion than

And no, I don't care.
You banned for actually figuring out who he is, I first found the avatar in 06 and then lost it when I moved computer and could never find it again until I was bored and looking at final fantasty pic on the web. I honestly don't care how you spell his name either. Also the person above me is banned

shameless necro The idea of vassalage and neutral factions without channelers sounds cool, It would really add to the gane as most others do not do it justice. It would be cool for vassals to give resources and gold and maybe knowledge you wouldn't get if you simply conquered them
its from tv tropes, fun stuff to read Also the list of good star wars games is very short indeed - most of them are from the 90's
What it comes down to is this: People dont play MP to play the computer. We can put the saved time into a better in-game AI, but developing the external bot architecture, just to have people complain that they end up playing AI in MP, is a waste of resources. People will just find the building pattern that is most optimal and use only that.
2. I’m killing off the bots concept. People hate them. I thought they were cool but they’re too much work only to be hated. I'm actually very dissapointed to hear this, aside from the economics information revealed previous to this post, this was probably the most exciting thing that i'd heard about elemental so far. Lets face it, the gaming community in general d
An idea of my own- conditional victory conditions. Some of the victorys will be changed depending on the type of map/mod you play. For example: if you play a one city challenge, your victory condition will be to survive X turns instead of killing your enemies. Your city will lack some of the important resources in the game which will put you down to be the game's underdog, but in exchange you will have a hidden victory that players will
From what Brad was saying in the journals it seems like this game will use a complex form the conservation of awesomeness of the channler. for those that that do not know the formula is derived from the conservation of ninjitsu P = 1/N where p is the power of an individual ninja and N is the number of ninjas. Henceforth I'm starting a petition for all non-hero n0n-magical units to suffer from graduating from the Imperial Stormtrooper Marksman Academy (also known as the Stormtr
