Damn! At this rate they'll release Firefox 12, before Opera 12 gets a final version. Seriously, I switched to my back-up PC after the other one went poof last month, and Firefox updated 4 versions, and now another one.( I stopped using this PC in march). I really hope EA and Activision don't get wind of this.

The way the map looks on the minimap in the last shot, the rectangle-ish aspect of each section of the continent, that reminds me a lot of how Heroes of Might and Magic 2 maps used to look like. You know, I really should try to make a map of Xeen in the editor. That overlay feature I suggested a while back would help.
Man, I wish Windows was that cheap these days. I've been dreading an upgrade to W7, since it would increase the cost of my next build by 30%.
No my friend, it is called, The Dude.
Has no one noticed the killer robot in the background?
I think that's Kay Fedewa aka SD_Zebrafox.
Update. Sad to say, it wasn't the battery. Wish it was. But at least I got to ride an escalator in order to get it, that's always fun. Up next, taking it apart and going over it with a magnifying glass, a prospect that sometimes I find frightening, not because of my phobia of magnifying glasses, but because whenever I take apart an electronic device, the chances of putting it back together in working conditions are slim. I excel at being incompetent at tinkering with e
I also recommend Irfanview. I use it for the exact same purpose, also with some resizing mixed in. You can set it up to do a batch job for just about anything, renaming included. All you have to do is add ### at the end of the name, and it'll rename and number every image selected.
That's not an axe, that's what lumberjacks use as razor blades.
I don't mean to alarm you people, but there's a killer robot behind you.
Thank you for all your suggestions, I plan to take it apart later this week, but just in case it is the battery, I'm going to try that first. That actually makes sense, it didn't need to warm up, it needed to recharge. At best, I hope to extend it's life for a few more months, until I can get the budget for a new one, a better one!. Well, just about anything I get will be a better one. Failing that, I'll wait until AMD improves the singlethread performance of it&
A while ago, I got a job as a video editor for a video gaming site. This job required a system with a lot more power than the one I had, so my then boss shipped me one they had previously used for a few years for the same function. It was a bit of a clunker Pentium D, but it performed a lot better than my own rig, and I also had to pay for it as if it were knew, because of it's outrageous video card (8800 ultra). For a while, things went well, it could do the work in a reasonable

As an adventurer, the occasional swooping dragon would be part of his day to day life, a pub would also work. It may not seem like much, but having a background with some detail really helps set the mood. I remember seeing these for the first time, I had no idea who these characters were, still don't r
I like what I'm seeing, but there is one little thing I would want to see different. The background for the portraits is great, I like how it places each character in a setting, except for Verga and Relias. They have clouds behind them. If only one of the had, it was OK, but both of them, it seems a bit repetitive, even if they have different colors. Adding something like a mighty tower behind Relias, or some kind of distant creature behind Verga, would benefit their definition.

This is gong to make spying on random people so much more interesting... that is, for creepy people who do that sort of stuff. Not me, nope, so spelunking, that would be a good application for it, 360 degree view of caves that have passages you can barely crawl trough would be awesome.
So it's not that unusual to have a ton of drafts for a chapter. Well, that puts my mind to rest. I've been trying to write something for a few years, so far I'm about 5 drafts in on the first few chapters. Since I keep changing them I'm afraid to write anything beyond a certain point, in case I have to chuck out the whole thing. Brad, how do you tell when you've reached the point where a chapter is good enough and well paced enough to be considered a fi
"We do not have any data for your browser, so we can't give your browser a score." That's because Opera is incompatible with the internet to the point where malware is afraid of it. Deal with it! [e digicons]:hrmph:[/e]
I've been planning on getting this one for my next rig: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811517013 I haven't personally had the chance to test it, but I know people who have and liked it. It can fit just about any video card with ease, and has a gigantic fan that saves me the trouble of gluing my room fan to the case again. It is a bit pricey though. This one has
Armored Princess was a stand alone expansion of The Legend, so they assumed you played the first one, which started with a fairly detailed tutorial. You'll get used to how the units work with time. Special abilities are important, but they can't be used every time. Some have to recharge, while others can only be used once per battle. Also, you will need to strike a balance between the units, as the low level ones can get steamrolled by high level creatures. A T-Rex will eat your arche

That would be hilarious.
As a fan of Buffy, I was actually counting down how long it will take until a form of undead shows up on Ringer. It took 3 episodes. Well, it was a dream sequence, but I still count it. I agree, the show so far has been full of suspense, and very well made. The direction it's heading should be very interesting. It has a plot that's slowly being teased and revealed in just the right way to keep you wanting to know more. And so far, it doesn't seem to contain any noticeable bad writing. And I sh
I think there's something wrong with me, because the second I saw the trailer for Terra Nova, the first thing I thought was "This looks like Tabula Rasa". After seeing the first episodes, I can say that it sort of does remind me of that old style of adventure that TR had back in the day. So far it's been OK, the characters aren't annoying, and the plot is nice so far. I just hope that whole missing son/scribbled stuff in the rocks, doesn't turn into some convoluted mystery tha
