Currently 32 bit. After the upgrade this spring-summer-winter, I'll be going 64 bit for sure, so I can use all 16GB of RAM for video editing and games ported by Rockstar. I doubt the availability of a 64bit version will ever sway my decision to buy something, mostly because it makes no difference if I already have a 64bit OS. If I had a 32 bit one, then yes it would, I wouldn't buy it because it wouldn't work.

I was supposed to be working on a preview of this. Sadly, it hates my video card. But you should see articles popping up everywhere, there's a beta going on and Paradox distributed preview builds two weeks ago.
This brings back painful memories of my last job, where I had to handle a very volatile community, and I failed at it miserably. I pretty much went through all three stages. I actually found a fourth stage, where the entitled brake into your site, deface it a few times a month, steal data and smash stuff. Very unpleasant memories that made a tough job dang near impossible.
I've been playing prelude for about two weeks. It's more or less Terran Conflict, not a lot of game changing stuff in it. There's a stocks market now, where I made a killing (1000 credits) in the 1MJ shield trade recently. I don't really see the point of it, since I can make a bucketload of money by scavenging the leftovers of the war. And there's a war, believe me there's a war. Gigantic fleets of gigantic ships swarming trough a few sectors, murdering my CPU with the
Fallen Enchantress is to me a chance to weasel my name into a game, on account of that spell thing [e digicons]^_^[/e] But seriously, I have hopes it will be the game that War of Magic should have been. Sort of like a Round 2. I did like War of Magic, but I wanted more out of it and Fallen Enchantress is that "more", more focused if not necesarally more content(dynasties and stuff being off the table) I can't think of a way to put that into marketing language, I'
When I read it, I was just amazed, shocked, stunned. Not just because something like that happened, but because it did at a level higher than the corner store or an internet forum. I've seen/made PR mistakes by the bucket load in the past, but this... this is just being hostile and mean to the costumer for no reason. In my country, that kind of behavior is sadly all too common, we even had a word for such a person "meltean" a sort of combination between scumbag and dou
That's good to hear. Looking forward to the beta, I just wish it was available during my vacation, not when work starts again. On the bright side, I'll have a reason to call in sick on occasion. [e digicons][/e]
I was satisfied with seeing a man being chased by a T-Rex while trying to outrun an explosion.
Oh, just noticed something. What does that Spell Mastery statistic do?
Dinner? As in, to attend dinner, or to be dinner?
The bit with the story was a killer [e digicons][/e] Ask it if it can rhyme.
Question for those who have completed the thieves/assassins guild quests. Please tell me if
there are playable sewers undr the streets of Solitude. I hear water flowing when walking over the sewer grates, but have found no way to access them.
Thanks
If you want to be sure use NCL in the console and clip trough the floor. I personally don't consider that che
I think they noticed that rebranding Westwood as an EA studio backfired, so now they're doing it the other way around.
I too look forward to this spiritual sequel to Baldur's Gate from the makers of Mass Effect. Seriously, why in the nine hells did they rename what was left of EA LA to Victory Games, only to then rename it again to Bioware? Is Electronic Arts going to Atari itself with Bioware? Wait... someone posted a Dilbert comic on this forum about that recently.
Being able to steal the equipment of the corpses would be nicer, although it would FUBAR the economy.
OK, here's an idea, add diseases as negative traits after losing some battles, like plague, that can be transmitted to cities. But not cancer, that's reserved for the game itself :P
Cave... interior.... [e digicons]:dur:[/e]
Yes, yes it will. But look at the bright side, Steam is a lot less annoying as DRM than StarForce.
"Optimize performance for Core 2 Duo CPUs (PC)" If only that read: "Optimized performance for the nutjob that played it on an Athlon 64" [e digicons][/e] Nice to see them stepping up with the patches.
Wasn't sure where to post this with all the excitement. Egosoft announced a new X game, no, not Rebirth, a new X3 game, X3 Albion, which will be released... are you ready for it... NEXT WEEK. Trailer I'm doing a happy dance right now.
This is going to sound strange, but someone sang the changelog:
Sweet, forgot to check for updates. Thanks for the reminder. [e classic]:congrat:[/e]
Having an AGP video card at the end of 2011, I completely understand how much a little standardization of hardware could improve the overall stability of PC Games. Or at least having drivers that won't on occasion melt your card. I remember when I first got Amnesia Dark Descent, it wouldn't run because of a comparability oversight. Or with DeathSpank, when the specs AMD gave them about some older cards were just plain wrong, causing the game to not function on said cards, until a fix
CD Projekt got back at the PC pirates with the interface of The Witcher 2. It was the worst punishment imaginable.
That's not a bad idea. I'll be checking by to see how you fare, especially to see how you manage to add something some of the more unique pieces of the world, like the city of Vivec, even if it's just a piece of the scenery. I was planning at one point to make a detailed map of Britania in the game, but I'll wait and see if they manage to add that overlay that would allow loading of images to use as outlines for the map editor.
