I think this actually happened to me once in War of Magic, but it was the other way around, the units belonging to the AI. This may sound odd, but, what if a perk would added, like "Great loyalty" or something, that actually enabled this to happen on purpose?

It's still yesterday, wait until today. You can use this extra time to reflect on your choices in life, on how you got to where you are... on how you've started to go bald for no reason before you're 30... Ok, I need that beta invite to get my mind of stuff. [e digicons]:S[/e]
I should be getting my other PC up and running next month, and having access to both games, I'll try and do a head to head comparison in an article of some sorts. I honestly never dreamed of seeing a year where the biggest competition for TBS games would be other TBS games. Sure, WoM was a month apart from Civ 5, but this year we've got FE and Warlock, Xenonauts and X-Com, Jagged Alliance Online and Jagged Alliance Back in Action(although that one is more real time), and a bunch more
Thanks. That comes to about 10pm here. I'll do my best to finish Friday's workload on Thursday so I can start the week-end early. Oh how my work efficiency rises for all the wrong reasons.
Oh, is it going to be Thursday US time, or Thursday smack dab in the middle of the Pacific timezone crossing time? I need to know if I should get up early or not.
Depends which country in Eastern Europe, mine is sort of a colony for the US State Department. [e digicons][/e]
Before November 1st.. hmm, I think I registered it in October, but I'm not sure. Oh well. Quit All the Work! Hide From All The Family! Play All of the Fallen Encantress Beta! I've been spending too much time on the internet, it's affecting my cognitive capacity and communication skills. LE: Oh, yep, added to my account on October 8th. Now, to conveniently come down with a disease that prevents me from work
I've always said that instead of shutting down stuff like TVShack (who's creator is being deported to the US, by the way for no good reason other than to be publicly executed for the pleasure of the media corporations) that just post links to where you can find movies and tv shows on existing hosting sites, removing the material from the host would be a better alternative. Or instead of making people, who stream movies from such sites, pay ridiculous fines, make the hosts take respons
Hehe, I've been using the same driver for my card for the last three years, but for a different reason. They stopped making them. On the plus side, whenever a game tells me to make sure I've got the latest driver, I laugh in it's face. [e digicons]XD[/e] Also, it's an ATI card, so changing drivers in itself is an adventure with more thrills and scares than poking inside a faulty PSU.
I've been using this for a while to compare my various video cards. Still wish I had the old P2 working, I would love to see what the stats of my ancient SiS315. I've had some troubles with it in the past, like the render test crashing the card, or the temperature not displaying properly, although that last thing was on a burned out card. Currently, until I fix the better PC, I'm sporting this beauty. <img src="http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/12/01/22/ace.png" al
I was hoping for: 22. Added unacomn to the beta earlier.
This is a bit old, but I'm digging it up because of some new info. I stuck an old PSU in a stripped down version of the PC today. It can't run with it since it lacks certain power cords(like the ones for the GPU), but the essentials were there, and it sort of booted up. The fans powered up properly and then slowed down, only the lights that needed to be on were on, and it looked like it would work. The most surprising part was that absolutely nothing exploded, which is a first for me
/signed if I get added as well [e digicons]:pout:[/e]
How much RAM does the game use when compared with War of Magic? Since I defaulted to my previous PC, this is a bit of a issue for me currently. If it's about the same, then it's OK. And since I've already got a cold that I think is related to the plague, I've got everything covered. Looking forward to the beta, after I get a few sessions into it I'll try to write an article about it at the place where I write stuff and make funny voices.
Alienware made a PC people can afford!?! This is a sign of the apocalypse, people.
I know [e digicons][/e] Now all I've got to do is wait for the beta... but I ran out of "Soon" pictures.
It looks snazzy, I especially like what's written under the upgrade cost for Fallen Enchantress [e digicons][/e]
Not necessarily, some older DX9 cards only go up to Pixel Shader 2, but most GPUs made after 2006 have support for Pixel Shader 3. Sadly, even if you have powerful DX9 card with PixShad 3, there'll still be some games that scoff at it and never give a reason. I'm hoping FE handles better than WoM did, every time I enabled the graphics my GPU fan would go into overdrive, it didn't do that in Skyrim.
I wasn't in the beta, so it'll probably later for me. I think I registered it in October, but still, soon.
I hope that D&D description fits better to Fallen Enchantress than it did to War of Magic. The wildlands make it sound a lot closer to that.
Is Fallen Enchantress going to have those nice C64/DOS beta intros that War of Magic had... the ones that didn't cause cancer?
Looking at this makes me feel sad(not because Nokia moved it's production plant out of the country) because looking at it's specs and performance (512MB of RAM [e digicons]o_O[/e] ) reminds me that my last phone had as it's best features a 20 line display and SMS icons. On the plus side, hitting someone with a Philips Savvy could be considered assault with a deadly weapon, and if you got the speaker wet, it had polyphonic ring tones. Excellent news. I'm burning with anticipation... although that could be the cancer/plague starting early. Now all I need to do is come up with an excuse as to why my work is late... plague would be a good one.
War of Magic used to do this once in a while, when it forgot to load the cloth map. It also sort of looks like a giant fish crashed headfirst into land. Or a fish that's being eaten by a dinosaur, or maybe a bear.
