Right then, new episode just finished. Firstly the
introduction of the character Mel, out of nowhere, seemed a bit forced, even more so when it was revealed to be
River Song, before she knew who she was. Although, the way they ditched here regenerative powers early on makes the rest of her appearances as the same person easier to understand. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this all plays out, I just hope they don't pull another plot convenience, no

I like what I'm seeing. Although, there would be one tiny little thing. The map could be a little rounder, to fit the design of the other panel.
Notice how none of them have two vertically stacked side buttons? Oh yea, it's a conspiracy!
I agree, even thought it's a review copy, the flaws that may potentially end up in the final game should be mentioned. Strange thing, no one's asked me so far to overlook flaws in the review code, although, the only people who send me review copies ahead of time are the folks at Paradox Interactive, they actually like feedback. Being in Europe, I'll have to wait till the 26th for Deus Ex 3, well, probably even more since this months budget was redistrib
I for one will not be upgrading for Battlefield 3, mostly because a new Windows isn't cheap, that's the only thing that would actually need upgrading, but that would imply retooling my software, and that'll take ages. I still wish they would pull a Crytek and make DX10 features magically work under Windows XP. My guess is that I'll play it near the end of next year, when I plan to switch to a new editing rig. I'm going hexa core(probably a zambezi or the komodo if
Gamescom was packed this year, literately, they closed the doors today because the building was full of people. I wasn't really expecting the new C&C game to be revealed, it's going to be very socially inclined anyway, I just hope they don't make another Lords of Ultima. Although Van Caneghem was heading up the project last time I heard, in February, and I trust that man with just about anything.Didn't even know about the new Relic RTS, honestly. The
I'm a bit surprised Opera is at the bottom of the list. It's usually not even compatible with websites on the internet, let alone viruses.
I actually think it can, since most videos on Youtube also come in mp4 format. But I sort of understand what you mean, I make web shows for a living, all in flv format, and spend a lot of time on Kongregate. Kongregate also being the place where you can find, for free, games older than Angry Birds that are a lot better.
Every tile matters you say? Well, that opens up a whole can of worms(giant ones that can devour a man whole) when it comes to finding new ways to screw with the enemy without actually engaging in hostile combat. Oh the griefing, the ever loving griefing. [e digicons]:smitten:[/e] I'm sorry, were you using that ore deposit as a mine? Too bad, it's now a snake pit. Oh, that river bed gave you trading bonuses? Well someone drank all the water. Is that forest giving you any
Anyone else notice that some of the dragons have jet engines on their backs?
Well I'm thinking that all the stuff we saw the Doctor do in the first minute of the episode one of this series, that's what's going to be the focus of this entire half season. I distinctly remember him digging an escape tunnel in what appeared to be WW 2 Germany, and the next episode is "Let's kill Hitler", so it would make sense and tie into the plot very well. With all the twists that have been going on in the series lately,
something tells me that th
Streaming tech has sure come a long way. This looks very promising, but at the same time, it means that desktops can coexist with mobile devices, you just won't do much with them directly. Turn on, configure, install the software and then start working from a nice sunny park, far away from the cobwebs of ye old dungeon. Well, sure, there's that cloud stuff, but I wouldn't really trust all my data to a cloud. I'm a bit paranoid. Now all I have to do is find a tablet for
Question is, will they evolve at a faster pace than the desktop, while maintaining a price point that doesn't require the selling of one's kidney? That's the main drawback of mobile devices. To get the mobile part you've got to give up a lot of features and pay a premium for it. Although, here's a thought. What if you could use a tablet to remotely operate your PC and stream stuff from the PC to the tablet or other mobile device. That would be the on
If a tablet will every be advanced enough to let me do what I can on my PC, but with the added bonus of doing it outside, instead of locked in a dungeon, then yes, the old big black box is going to get retired. Until then you can't really get any work done on a tablet. Currently, I see tablets more as consumer only or specialized devices, for example, I'm trying to write a beekeeping management program for my dad, and I want to get it on a tablet, once I find one that works and doesn&

If people are getting locked out a the rate that Google suspends AdSense accounts( as in, 5 seconds after it's made it get suspended for no reason) , it's probably better I'm staying away from it. Unless they start locking people out before hand.
Ooo, right, I forgot to ask. Will spells in Fallen Enchantress be more modable than in War of Magic? In the sense that, will it be possible to add side effects, backfire effects, or percentage chances to do X instead of Y.
[e digicons][/e] Love the spells and the artwork.
Notice he didn't mention about flipping from Fantasy 4x to FPS....hmmm....
I was just about to say the same thing... a gritty FPS with a brown color filter. It could still happen.
I actually did that once by accident. It wasn't a fun experience, but productivity that week skyrocketed. But really, there are benefits to blocking Facebook. For example, every site that has a Facebook Like button will load up a lot faster. Because of those, sites like The Daily Show, or even the main page of Elemental would take minutes to load. I think my ISP hates Facebook. Still, it's good to know IE has it's advantages. I just wish that one of these days I
Stupid me. I just thought I was telling folks that if they go to social sites, they'd be protected best by ie9.
Aha, so by blacklisting social sites, Opera can have an edge over other browsers.
Hmm, I don't really get what the chart refers to. Opera tends to kick in the head just about everything that tries to run/install/download from any website without permission, and it has a neat Blacklist Facebook feature that resolves any social site problems.
I use the Microsoft SideWinder Mouse. I think it has the buttons you are looking for. Very high quality build, large than typical, adjustable sensitivity and weight and I find it generally comfortable. My wife liked it so much that she wanted one when her last (Logitech) mouse died on us. Worth a look anyway
I thought about a SideWinder, but one costs about ten times as much as the original one I had,
I've got the same opinion regarding small mouses. The one thing that's been bugging me lately is that I used to have a larger mouse, one made to sort of adapt to the shape of the human hand, that came with two large vertical side buttons. It was a cheap Genius Optical Netscroll something mouse. Thing is, it broke after a few years of abuse(at one point it was cracked open, it still works, but it missfires like mad), and when it came time to get another one, I couldn'
I recommend starting out with an older X title if you want to learn the ropes. I started out with X2, back before they added production chains and a lot of other stuff, so it was easier to learn. Then again, Rebirth will probably reboot the gameplay as well.
