I used to have an obsession with social insects.
Social insects are a great source of behaviors to model in a lot of Videogame AI routines. I don't know how relevant they are to turnbased strategy games, though...

They kill the scouting hornets that way and therefore prevent the major attack. Bees can surviv
I agree with you n this subject, I was just showing how the LAN example is different from the boardgame example.

where did you learn to round Tomy, 39.4% rounds to 40%? you won't usually round to the highest value position. If I rounded the way you did it would be equally valid to say 70% said they like SD=GO
I would say that the difference is that your frinds don't go home with their very own copies of your boardgame after they come over to play it.
I'm not sure when the next cycle starts, but you'll be able to enter the next cycle after preordering.
I wonder how many PMs this post started. I can see some people facetiously PMing him after this to be nice to stardock.
Careful, wizards might show up and throw a fit. They hold a patent on "turning a card 90 degrees" as a game mechanic, so I can only imagine what else they might try to claim. I imagine 15year olds to be like the ones I went to school with as opposed to being as intelligent as I was at that age :(
Quoting KellenDunk, reply 22 You know I HAD that thought in my head just after I posted it but I let it go. You're talking about weapons Darth Maul style. The advantage of a double bladed weapon above dual wielding is simply reach in my opinion. Reach and an improved ability to deal with people who are surrounding you. Quoting Scorpiana, reply 17 Well, maybe if you look at it as a staff wit
A bit of a disappointment for those who are anxious to participate in testing and providing feedback, but I can see how releasing that now would do you any good.
TO think of the way Animals behave in how we might design our games is so very ALIFE I like it.
SO basically the idea is to say something SOOOOo Horrendous that nobody can think of something to say after your post.
THREAD NECRO! I decided the first thing I'm going to do will be very simple. A lottery, just to see if I can do it- then I will move on to the slime game.
Try double edged ... it has only one blade. I do like the sword, but we are talking about this. ... most searches take "double blade" and redirect to "double edge" so its a common mistake. First time I saw/heard of such a thing was in the first Neverwinter Nights. http://cn1.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/0/75/b/AAAAAkJNmWUAAAAAAHW8lg.jpg
You know I HAD that tho
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gladius A double bladed sword. Also quite pointy.. Good for several types of attacking.
I"m pretty sure elementapedia was just a word Brad used to describe the thing in his post.
The only word we've been given is that they want what they are calling continuous turns. And you can slow it down to the point that it's exactly like any other turn based.
It's supposed to be some kind of mongrel but you CAN slow it down to turn based control
You guy also missed that they aren't implementing said bots and that this thread is 5months old
