*Bump* I really hope we can get something like this later on down the road.
Hahahahaha nice. That's awesome :)
Your vote doesn't count. It's obviously and totally biased.
What?!?! How dare you accuse me of being biased!!! The people of Ravenloft unanimously elected me to speak for them in this matter and there is no way that my pure evil soul could be corrupted by any form of goodness or light. I think you're just being racist against "Ravenites" you cat/tiger loving witch :P
That is Awesome my friend :) Well done indeed. I'm doing that with my custom made faction. After that I'll work on making unique buildings for every faction.
Personally, I'd like the ability to do the more graphical and difficult stuff with an ingame editor and then exit out for XML tweaking... that's what I did with GalCiv 2, as well.
Same.
I second Ravenloft. P.S. I always name my capitol city Ravenloft :)
The only thing that Stardock has EVER done to miff me even a little bit was to stop putting out their patches as stand alone downloads. I do Completely Understand this is to help fight piracy and I'm sure it's a wise decision. Many, MANY, other companies have gone this route in the last few years. I don't like it, but as TwoHawks says above me, it's the reality of the situation. This does scare me though that some day I may end up moving back out into the sticks of Lake County where t
Any sexy or martial look seems rather impossible; all the clothing options are full gowns and similar outfits best suited for a bar or a ball, not a battle.
At the risk of sounding like your average "sexist guy"...I Fully Support the Adding of Chain Mail Bikinis. I'd be a lot more likely to try playing or making a female character if I could make her look more like a slut and less like a grandma....because sluts are cool :) especially when they can
It would be nice if 'Job Classes' and 'Job Specializations/Subspecializations' were available to the Sovereign. E.g. Currently you pick a Job... but really it is more of a 'History' for the character, a relatively static, non-defining bonus. A Better option perhaps follows: At creation the sovereign would be the same as now, however the Miner/merchant/royal would be 'History' instead of profession. At level 2 you would pick a
More brothels in RPGs! I loved that part myself, especially some of the humor they threw in it.
I'll bet if brothels were legal everywhere in real life we'd have a much lower crime rate.
Vampires....DON'T sparkle....EVER!!!!!
I'm not even against the vampire genre. I love True Blood.
True Blood kicks more ass than a 3 legged man in an ass kicking contest :) Man I love that show.
Problems: - I can get the modification working but the description text is still reading the original text instead of being modified. For example, History_Merchant has been modified to grant +20 G/turn but the text still displays it as +2 despite my changing it (NOTE: Just for testing purposes).
This means it's being over-ridden by another file and needs to be changed in multiple places. I've seen this same type of thing when
I wonder if this should be renamed to Soft Lighting or something because it implies that one is more “advanced” than the other.
Definitely go with renaming it to "Soft Lighting". It sounds better. They both look great, but my personal preference is for the sharper image with more defining lines. It would be really cool to be able to use "Soft Lighting" for certain spell or creature effects though while staying in "Regular Lig
I suggest that damage spells have a minimum amount of damage they do (a number or percentage of normal int damage) regardless of armor, so that they actually feel like they are worth casting. What do others think? Best regards, Steven.
I think I'm of two minds on the subject. Here is how it breaks down in my mind. 1. Part of me thinks armor shouldn't affect damage received from magic at al
first person shooter. Enjoy.
It'll be a "first person" shooter alright. Someone here will end up being the "first person" to shoot a game developer for drastically changing a game before the launch. I think people would stand in line just to shoot the corpse at that point...turning a strategy game into a FPS...for shame. :P j/k In all seriousness, it's not all too often that ANY game comes along in today's market that Really changes gaming o
"Am I The Only One Who Can't Stand Bioware?" Yes....yes you are.
I tire of hearing your incessant whining on and on about nature, woman. If you do not Learn Your Place then when I rid My World of these pathetic kingdoms your precious land of nature will bow beneath my heel as well. Nothing is more powerful than Death!!! Death comes to all things that were alive, even those that grow in the Earth. I will allow you to toy with these weak kingdom Sovereigns if you wish, but when yo
Is Renaisance an expansion, or a stand alone thing?
I think it's both. You buy it and the original game is included. Not %100 sure on that though.
Frogboy did a video on it a week or two ago brother. Check the Dev Posts. I think it's a two part video where he makes a Ogre Spawning Building. I'll see if I can find more specific info than that, give me a bit.
PC games in general are something that I miss. I like a little number crunching, learning the menus, hotkeys, and fiddling with .ini settings. Everything I've played in the last 3 years is either a console port, feels like a console port(streamlined derp), or is a short, sweet indie game.
Do you know why that is? It's because of the market growth in the industry. Way back in the day there were only three types of games that were played on PC. FPS, RPG, and Strategy. Tha
Here is the bright side. I worked for 50 years and today 7/30/10 was my last day as I am now retired. Now I have everyday ahead of me and am still working on what the hell I'm going to do with all this time. One thing I know I can do is keep my eye on Doc and Wiz as they really need someone to keep them straight.
Congrats my friend :) . Enjoy it man, enjoy it!!! P.S. Don't mind the tall scary guy in the black robe
Way back when I first pre-ordered Elemental I posted an idea in the ideas section about making a Flying Citadel (which I'd still like to do for the DL Mod) that would fit in real nice here.
I've seen some good reviews on it, but honestly I don't know what to think. Generally I make it a point not to believe anything reviews say and judge for myself by looking for videos of game-play and small user reviews from people who have bought it. I guess in a worst case scenario you could always just pirate it and try it out if there's no demo :P
