If you put too much Essence into the weeds your heroes get distracted. Take note of the once Mighty Thor here...

It's in the game. :)
So I notice a lot of people posting about how they hate the "mop up" phase of a game and I often wonder why. I know the obvious. It can get tiresome to some players. After I've played a game for a long time and I'm in the late game and I've beaten an enemy, that's when I use "auto calculate" for the battles I know I'm going to win. That speeds up the mop up phase of any game. I can see how hunting down each and every family member may get tiring to some players. In a game like Elemental where
Recipe for disaster. Weak flying unit against strong ground units with no anti-air attack. No incentive for the flying unit to attack, no way for the ground units to attack.
If they do it "right" then your Sovereign will be able to cast a spell anywhere you have an army on the map. Like how in Mom or AoW if your "Channeler" wasn't with the attacking army as long as the battle was taking place in his lands the attack spells woul
I'm torn by the idea actually. I like what the idea would bring into tactical combat. If you mouse over an enemy unit you shouldn't get all the unit info right away unless they are rather close. From far away you'd be hard pressed just to be able to tell if they're carrying a sword or a mace on a foggy morning. The only part of the idea I don't like is having the actual FoW block out part of a tactical battle. I only say that because the area a battle takes place in is pr

Frogboy stated in the change-log that caravans would now show up on the map when roads were made to connect two cities. Finding a irregular map is much easier when you don't have to explore the whole thing. Once that bug is gone then by all means take it out so we can test exploring properly. Ok, I think a few of you are getting a little paranoid about the "lose a battle over a dice roll" thing. It's not that simple. Look at the big picture. A battle is Never one dice roll. First off what level is your Sovereign? Is he wearing armor that gives him a defense bonus? Does he have any defense enhancing enchantments cast? (you know those will be in there somewhere). Does he have enough power or enough spells to obliterate everything in front of him except maybe a Dragon? (You know he w
