what they said... AND I loved the untima series... and liked the 'detective' work needed. Mirrorwind was, in some ways, far superior to Skyrim... So, Draingol, you are not alone. Perhaps there are fewer gamers that perfer less handholding... whatever, congrats both on your teams succeses, and on the candor of your post. Refreshing, it is. Kudos!

Another way to minimize the stack of doom (...err death) is to come up with ways to have the opponent take advantage of the concentration of units in such a small space. Say, allow a 'strategic' strike by missle (thrown, spear, bow/arrow/catapult/magic) the possibility to attack/affect each unit in the stack. This would give a player the trade off, concentrate forces, but suffer more indirect firing damage. Thhis, of course, would have to happen befo

@AgentExinder very well said. Serfss are better than slaves, becuase the 'masters' don't own serfs, so if serfs starve, so what. Slaves are property, so have to be 'cared for.'

Changing the manner in which votes are wieghted may have some affect. But the US system needs much more than that. Myfist0 thanks for video alert. I agree that the USA, in striving to run an empire, has lost its way: The constitution is in shreads... and dismissing the rule of Law. And using the military, who at one time were our protectors, to become our keepers - is abhorrant to me. Sadly, many don't even know what the text says. Even the host of the Tyranny Alert (with whose views I substationally agree), misquotes the constitution' He sa

clarification, the HD textures I was using, and had to ditch, were downloaed by modders, using the download manager for skyrim, on the tesnexus site. Many mods there... and all were pre- creation kit made mods. I'm going to look into the tweeking guides for win 7, pc gaming, and skyrim (nvidia put one out), and see if that lets me run with the HD textures, etc. Yes, Beth does offer a HD tex pack along with (not bundled with) the creation kit.

I'm an advocate of creating, and keep as many 'interesting choices' in the game as possible. Many good ideas here. May I suggest something along these lines: Experienced heros, (mega-heros)? lose all utility after suffering (some) wounds. What happened to a working retirement? Why not let a severly wounded (or just wounded) Hero be assigned a different set of jobs? Say: When retiring (transfering) hero to teaching/advising role
