I pretty much do what Grand... says, with one modification. I will build a second 'fortress' on the best essence site I can find. 2, 3, (yikes, I found a 4 in my current game). The second fortress city is buffed up so my 'second' generation of troops have magical enhancements. Depending on timing, great mill may be here, often, however, it is in first fortress so it helps build the heavy buildings. Filler garrison troops (to keep monsters away from border settlements) will continue to be

yes, i likey.
Me, too.
Perhaps its time for many of these 'sensitive' It networks to be placed in a separate 'internet' with dedicated gateways that are not always 'on/open.' Many of these military / sci /research entities could be kept separate from the world wide web. Is constant access really needed?
Does this mod also work with LH .87? Sorry if this is asked elsewhere...
Ah, the joys of city planning.
who is he?
I would prefer the info be displayed only when certain treaties are in effect. Say, alliance and //or NAP. Other wise... fog of war
I have done this quest several times, sometimes hiring the brute, sometimes attacking him. Quest has not crashed on my PC. (so far...)
From most recent play through: (a) Boats still don’t work. (b) May begin build of overlord forge after destroying witch tower several turns earlier – forge-overlord victory was off. (b) Several 1-3 square sized islands have goodie huts but all cliffs, no coast to allow player to access land. (c) Several heroes (from old system) still appear on map. “Local AI Test Leader’s Army,” [weak, 2-28-10-51], banner read “Learn Beorn’s Letters
You are not losing the monk robe when you get the armlet. It's added to your current set The icons are misleading at times. For any armor upgrade they show on left side the LAST item you upgraded (like monk robe in your case) and the icon of the new item that will be added to the set. Is easier to understand for weapons and group upgrades since there is only 1 item that is upgrading
ah, so you are s
Quoting Kamamura_CZ, reply 2The tooltips are very confusing, I get descriptions like: Food production: +2 -> +2 Research bonus: +50% -> +50% Sometimes a building gives an impression its completion has no effect whatsoever. I really like this approach. You get to see before and after states. If they're the same, it means the building i
This is well known on the boards - has happened to a number of people, including myself. Sometimes, as many as 10 units are 'offsides.' Hasn't happened to me since v0.85 - so i don't know if v0.87 (current) fixes this. [Anyone confirm this?] If you don't have ranged weapons / magic to pick off the off-sides units (and they have no ranged combat available) then the only way out is to auto-resolve the battle.
Yes, them trolls love to smack upstart fire wizzys down... lol. Best thing with trolls is lots of cheap summoned beings to keep them busy - while you range attack them, and/or hit them (one at a time) with all your decent hitting troops. hey, sometimes you even survive. Oh, if you get the giant cat quest, don't bother giving him 'eviscerate.' It ends the 'maul' attack sequence (sad). But he is great against trolls, especially with a bit of
Yes, I verify the above. The arena has shown up, sometimes, in three places at one time. When the quest is completed, all the arenas dissapear. Not sure if its a bug or feature. I just think of them as local franchises.
Yea, when its ready, I will be happy to design some nice story based quests...
Just add a button next to Done - Upgrade ALL.
I strongly prefer a check box next to each possible upgrade, and a closing buttion that says 'upgrade checked items' Some current upgrades don't make sense. Consider armor, taking the def +3 /dodge +5 overall garment (not a cloak) and 'upgrading' it to a +1 leather armlet makes no sense, and wastes lots of crystal. SO I strongly oppose
Quoting ElanaAhova, reply 9I don't (generally) use mods. Out of curiosity any reason why not? Many strategy (and other) games have some great mods that can really add interest and effectively extend the life of the game.
I was not specific enough when I made the comment. I meant mods for FE/EH. I actually make mods for Skyrim (nexus exclusives), and have heavily modde

access to leadership trees. There needs to be a way for every sovereign to have a little more control over some of the skills their subjects may learn. I refer specifically to the military and civilian leadership trees. Unless you have henchmen, a luck hero selection is required to have access to the leadership trees. I recommend that every faction have access to a trained 'unit' (like the mini-magic users - that have only three levels of magic potential

.85 still has some balancing issues. And some stability (crashing) issues. It is close. Any other game company that released it would be a red flag to me. SD could release it and I would be OK with that decision. However, addressing these issues before going gold would be the best choice for SD given the publicity angle, and increasing market share. Anyone may choose to purchase the .85 version as a beta, and enjoy it. So, everyone wins by postponing gold until the program is polished a
