I have not had K steal any of my cities, but I have seem messages that seem to indicate an occurrence much like that discussed above between Kraxis and another AI.

Actually, I think a 'no' response should not be possible. I think all quests (at this stage) should replace the 'no' with "I have no time for this,' or 'perhaps later, not now.' The game is best with many options, and shutting one off, irrevocably, seems poor form... oh, do I hear a ticking crocodile?
Nice, I need a prince charming... and Shreck may keep 'his' Charming... lol.
And the boundaries between fantasy and science fiction are as firm as "Q." smile
Yes, found froogy, found offering, cool. A 'light' snack.
Notch Minecraft, >> notched pickax in Skyrim >> LH: Notched flaming Axs wielded by frogy troops.
parrot, I will dl the editor this weekend and take a good look (as a user - I have little programming skills, just enough to be dangerous!) Smile. Hope to have well thought out feedback for you by mon... and a first draft of a tutorial/user guide for "the rest of us." is OK?
It must be one of those laws of internet forums that anyone decrying a strawman argument is bound to use a strawman argument. What I am doing might be called an ad hominum argument. I am not debating the relative merits of darkehound's claim, I am making a direct attack on him personally. Except I am not arguing anything. Here is me hoping it will uncover another part of the amazing story.
Then, he will start asking for bear cavalry mounts for his troops.
Yes, I suppose my troops have an allergy to boats.... LOL. I play on pre made maps, mostly. never thought the boats appear on a random map. They do? Cool.
Parrotmouth, I'm a big fan of your work w EH as well. I'm not a programmer, but I do have some skills in writing / documentation. If you decide to do a 'manual' for new people to used to learn how to use the quest Creator program. PQCU = Parrot's Quest Creator Utility?
Many times, not always, the boat won't carry troops. It will, when placed next to land troops, allow them to move into a sea space. Then move the boat, one square, rinse and reprat. And hop you have cloud walk to get back... its a slow, clickfest trip.
agree... still not worth playing....
Agree, unlocking road building as a trait which may be designed into a unit makes great sense. Yes, to above.
Elemental: War of magic = "the game that is not to be named."
Yes, commander, level 3 does allow roadbuilding, and on a horse, can lay a lot of road in a few turns. However, what if your sov is not a 'commander,' and none of your hero selections come up as commanders? ouch city. Henchmen and scions address this, but come way too late. Agree, make it a trait, or make it a hero promotion choice that is outside any of the profession 'trees' so ANY hero can choose it upon level up.
Agree with above. Many DOM3 fans here. In fact, there were two dedicated threads here, each 'housing' a dom 3 game, with most of the players coming from here. (Including me)
Agree with you Doc. Our proposal is 'too simple' a solution, Doc. And simple doesn't seem, well, modern...
I've had sov (mages) leveling in the high 20's (and then victory screen). I'm not sure what your experience has been that puts a ceiling above your sov at level 8? Perhaps a review of your gaming style, or a saved game we all can look at, discuss, brainstorm with you. (is that a spell? Should be!) EH is not perfect, but I feel you are ditching your investment a tad prematurely. BTW, mage XP modifies (that stack): 25%
Yes, FE/EH has lots of click fests. Diplomacy... oye. And why are all the screens placed so far apart, all the time. Wish I could drag the parts closer together when I am doing lots of diplomacy, and when done, drag them back to sides of main map.
Yes, Bernie has good idea, covert branch of the game is nil right now. Way cool idea! Oh, duct tape? Only allowed with male sovereigns... (JK)
i suggested this as a way to address the issue https://forums.elementalgame.com/442892/page/1/#3343561
Many suggestions. I use two field armies. Main with sov. Secondary. If I am lucky, one of them has a road-builder in its ranks. Primary stack attacks city. Next turn, secondary stack replaces primary in city, as primary moves on to next target, or clears the area. Hope this helps
