Indeed, GFireflyE. I wonder, is that your ISP pulling hankypanky? Doesn't your security software stop 'redirects'? @Elana: " OK, who will the losers be?" The show, so far, is rather mediocre, even trite at times. Seeing the X-files alumni actor playing a spy stuck handling /babysitting / the scorpions adds to my not really suspending disbelief as I watch. Weird, because, in-spite of all this, I am looking forward to the next episode. Scorpions is tapping something, just not sure what. keep the cameras roiling.
The doomsday clock seems similiar to, and probably inspired by, the Armageddon clock in Kael's 'Fall from Heaven 2' Mod (Civ4).

I blame Ryat for my slump in new karma. His bad karma is leeching my good karma. Bad Ryat. :)

Mysteries of Laura, great pilot episode.
Left High school in 72, HS was boring to the max.
wish there was a way to make the new storefront optional, and keep the old format.
I think those who wish to prove the existence of ghosts don't have a ghost of a chance to do so.
^ It's not a bad thing, but it does have a psychology to it, and wise to see that. Also, "T.A.N.S.T.A.A.F.L." - from Farnham's Freehold (Heinlein): "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch." What seems 'free' ends up costing you twice as much (if not more). I am happy being a year behind, waiting for all the bugs to be ironed out and get a $60 title for $10 [e digicons]O:)[/e]
except for galciv3 - this is my approach, as well. Great minds think alike. I might make an exception for fallout 4, but mostly, wait and get them as GOTY editions, on sale, w bug spray already applied liberally.

oh, confusing, so confusing.
Awesome info. Is old news to sci fi fans like me. Good to see it coming to reality. I expect, sooner or later, to also see genetic 'enhancements' added to the stream of technology roll outs. Say we find the nearest sorta inhabitable planet to have some 'unfortunate' aspects. Solution? Genetically modify some of us so those so modified may comfortably live on this new planet.
I have never examined the studies about cash vs digital payments. I have used cash for most things for a very long time. I even use money orders for some purchases to isolate that data stream (unwanted future sales pitches, linking their data base to my personal info, etc). I made this change about 10 years ago. I got tired of 'gotcha' aspects of credit cards, and the loan-sharking level of 'fees' associated with same. Life is much simpler and les
True patriots stand up for constitutional rights -even when the current US government is trashing some of those rights. Patriots may include our military personal, AND civilians who protest and demand a 'regress of their grievances.' Never make the assumption that wearing a uniform automatically makes one a patriot, nor make the mistake that anyone waving the flag is a patriot, nor make the mistake that a 'hippy-type' wearing the flag protesting some of our governm
Oh, yes, thank you for including me - and congrats to the winner. :)
Thank you Island dog, you took me right to my page, as well. No invite there... alas... +1 given :) (Will figure out how to this later.... )
Just set up my face-book page, because its required for a virtual seminar series I'm participating in. The teacher stated that he has sent invites to private facepages that are designed as a venue for classmates to share, network, etc. I cannot figure out how to accept the request and get on board. I've read the docs at ehow, and watched a vid on face-book... nada help. Any tips that will help me cut thru the malarky? :)
