Hope its considered 'necessary' so the poor can get them.
Did my thing at dearFCC.org your turn, now
Does not keep my interest.
@lightstar, thanks, I did not know....
Powerful interests always seek more power.
Absolutely an awesome idea! a workaround for the doomsday counter would be to just pretend that the previous winning empire got corrupted and is now destroying shards. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
@Starkers yes, free sci fi was a red flag.
Thanks doc. I was/am very suspicious... but with the ".net" suffix I thought it *might* be safe and legit. A '.com' ending would have told me to immediately ditch it. I will ignore as you advise. Thanks again Seth.
Just came across a site that ends with ".net" that has free access to sci fi channel, etc. However, it requires user to download an program to PC in order to view shows. Sounds like a scam - except its on a 'net' extension. IS this possibly legit? OR is downloading the enabling program opeining up a world of hurt?
Watched an old flick on netflix (my first time): "We are the night.' I'm a fan of quality vampyre movies. "Let the right one in" up till now has been my recent 'best' pick as it explored some interesting issues while presenting an unconventional twist. 'We are the night' takes number one spot now. It is a 'b' movie and the German to English dubbing doesn't always match the actors lips - but the music, and the story line really sucked
Yes, computers that can grow. Is this also a step in the direction of making fully compatible 'designer' cyborg implants?
Civ 4 fan. FfH2 mod, wyre's and fall mod, Rise of mankind/a new dawn, etc., best 4x games I have played. CivV (complete) is OK. I wish they would just release alpha centauri with updated graphics - as is, its still way better then civ5BE. My advice: don't bother with civ5 beyond earth until it is selling in the $5US range.
Sad, guess I will probably pass on this... I don't play on line much....
Very cool. very, very cool.
Oh, cool. Did not know. Does the alpha turn into the 'real' game? Or does it stay alpha forever? Still cool!
Evolve game just showed up on my steam account as a game ready to download - not as a coupon, etc. I never ordered / purchased it. Has this happened to anyone else? If its been gifted to me on steam - how do I find out who so I can send a proper thank you?
apology accepted. Happy gaming
We could protect ourselves from poodle attacks merely by having pics of cute cats on our desktop? :)
Oh, I thought I got rid of the pups 6 months ago. Havn't downloaed anything since. ummmmm
Name for production circular thingy: Production cycle. We have election cycles, etc, why not production cycle?
Actually, I run herd protect 2 - 3 times a week. The only lapse I have found with herd protect is it seems to miss the PUP malware that malwarebytes finds. Herd is good!
