I've been in several tac screens where the white boxs would not let me escape. These were all 1.09e or earlier.

Elemental's world seems drab becuase the colors are mostly 'boring' earthtones... just like a desolate, dessicated landscape would be. Would be nice if reclaimed land (or/and cursed land) became more colorful, and the buildings, etc were, too.

One other thing, have your SOV research a) summon familiar. As soon as you learn it, cast it - and keep it with you. Sov life expectancy will increase somewhat when fammy is riding shotgun. Or, b) heal, and fire arrow (whatever its called). That way your sov can heal units with you (peasants, whatever) and provide "air support' via magic arrow attack from a safe distance.

All equipment should be usable, equitable, and universally interchangeable re: all sentients. gender should be irrelevant. Eye- candy should be in the clothing section, not the weapons armor section.

I just downloaded galCivII via Impulse. game seems to run, but ALL the buttons and drop down boxes are missing labels. All are blank. They do activate game functions, but without labels i have no idea what i am doing. I did update the game. I deleted the games s and downloaded them again. Same result. Any suggestions? Anyone have this happen to them?

food allow you to build housing. housing increases the population capacity of the settlement. So, indirectly, via housing, the 5 food is 'consumed' every turn by the five 'people' in the settlement. The five people, now fed, can be assigned to various tasks.

Oblivion was lame compared to Mirrorwind. However, the mods for oblivion continue to be wonderful, and make the game worth buying - so I can play the mods. Wonderful stories, and some of the total remakes are awesome, as well.

PCs allow gamers to mod. So far, consoles don't. Until console allow players to mod games, they will be unable to kill PC game market.

All: Can I get a friend to download the service packs from MS on their PC, and burn them into a CD, then bring the cd to My pc, to "update' my windows xp, before trying to get on Internet etc.? Will the MS police let me / them do this? How can I use a hardware firewall with a stand alone PC, and broadband internet access? </p
