I agree with the suggestions dealing with Magic. Can we see these changes happen with legendary heroes? I doubt it but it would be nice if we had a small expansion that just dealt with Magic. Hey you could even call it Legendary Enchantments rofl.... Have it bring in the global enchantments with strategic casting duels and item enchantment system closer to MOM's or Age of wonders. Throw in a few more classical fantasy npc's and you have a winner.

When casting a buff on an npc, please allow players to select multiple npc's at one time instead of having to cast the same buff over and over again.

Look I'll make it real simple for you. THE FISCAL CLIFF WILL NOT BE FIXED!!!! The idiots or better yet CROOKS in Washington will not fix it, in fact the only way they will fix it is by ordering a NEW round of bailouts to their Wall Street Investment Banker Master's, printing more money, raising the debt ceiling, raising taxes with a new value added tax and perhaps a carbon tax and finall

As for me I read on my IPAD using the kindle APP and I LOVE it, and will never go back to purchasing a physical copy ever again. The main reason that I prefer Ebooks over a physical copy, is that I can download a copy of the book I purchased to multiple devices and at any time. Meaning I can have a copy of a book on my IPAD, on my phone, and I can even read it from any computer with an internet connection. Now unfortunately what I cant do is loan the book to a friend, but what

Sorry a map pack wont do it for me. If you want 5 dollars then please put back in the Dynasty option for the game and flesh it out some. For ideas check out Medieval Total War 2. Also I liked being given the option to kill leaders and champions. I know it was kind of lame to beat an opponent by killing his leader, but thats where the dynasty system comes in, because one of your children or generals can be a successor. Lastly there needs to be GLOBAL enchantments added to the g

Just a few things that I would love to see when modding Fallen Enchantress. First I would love to see a place provided where people can post their mod's. In the original War of Magic we were able to post maps, but in FE we arent given that option. So I would love to see the players given that option, but also I would love to see other things added to the options such as XML files, Tiles, Models and Graphics, Sounds, Quests etc... I would like to see XML editing to

Agreed they should have never gotten rid of Dynasties or Permadeath, in fact they should have fleshed these 2 aspects out. 1st - Dynasties could have been fleshed out to be more like Medieval Total War 2, where you married had kids, and your kids married and had kids. And when your leader died of old age or in battle you selected a successor to keep on playing your faction. Personally I would have preferred this over immortal sovereigns. Also dying of old age woul

I hate to post a negative comment on a game that's definitely made a lot of progress, but its still lacking a few things to make it the best 4x fantasy strategy game. First I cant harp enough about magic. There really needs to be more added to the magic system to make this game a worthy successor to MOM. For one it needs global spells and a way to counter them. Next we need regional spells that take effect in your zone of control, and there needs to be a way to prot

I honestly hope that you guys arent finished with the game, because it still needs a little more work. Dont get me wrong, its a good game right now in many aspects but it certaintly would not be the best game in this genre. The main reason i say this is because the magic isnt fleshed out enough for there to be a war of magic, and sadly its suffering from the exact same thing that prevented age of wonders from being a worthy successor to master of magic, and unfortunately

Its pretty good so far, but it still doesnt hold a candle to master of magic or dominions when it comes to magic. For one even the first war of magic had better spell options when it came to changing the world map. i.e Kurgan's volcano, flood, create mountain, destroy land. wich were all take out of FE. Next there are no epic global spells, no way to protect cities from enemy curses, no way to counter global enchantments and lets face it the summons are rather pathetic also.

Thought I would post 2 suggestions that I would love to see in the UI. 1. Multiple selections on spell targets - Its quite annoying when your trying to buff all the units in a group with buffs that you have to cast the buff each time on each unit. Why not allow the person to use shift or alt to highlight multiple targets. 2. A favorites bar - It would be nice to be able to drag 8 frequently casted spells to a favorites bar that I can click on inst

1. As for spells just do a replay of Masters of Magic and take a good look on how their spell system is and implement it into Fallen Enchantress. For example in MOM each side has some pretty powerfull global spells that require multiple turns to cast and a system of spells to protect against those global spells such as Disjunctions, Enchantments that fire off disjunctions automatically, enchantments that cause earthquakes to players cities that cast a certain type of spell, steal enchantments

I voted good for this patch, but it still needs a little bit more to go for excellent. There are a few bugs such as Turns sticking, and the occasional crash and the laggy gameplay as you get further into the game. But my biggest gripe is that with each new patch we lose more and more spells.... DOH... isnt this game about a war of magic? So I suggest that the next patch be based upon fleshing out the spell books. We need alot of global spells to be

So far Im loving 0.95 and it appears that the game is shaping up rather nicely, but I do have some concerns. 1st and foremost the game is still having an issue that was never fixed in the original war of magic and that's having the turn button stick to where you cant complete your turn. 2nd Im concerned that with each additional patch we continue to lose magical abilities. For example in War of Magic we had the ability to summon a volcano and another spell t

I would like to just add a few suggestions to the FE UI to make the game even better. 1. First and foremost there needs to be a hotkey bar that you can drag and cast the most common spells that you cast instead of having to open up the spellbook every time you want to cast a spell. 2. Another suggestion is when you want to cast a buff on multiple units in a stack. Currently the only way to do this would be to cast the buff on every person in the stack. Instead when you are sel

So far beta 3 is much better than the other betas and much more stable, yet I am still dealing with the occasional crash to desktop and turn button sticking. Fix those issues and the game will be good, but to make it excellent there needs to be way more spells and more random events. Also I wouldnt mind seeing the following: 1. I would like to be able to upgrade old units with new equipment when its researched. 2. I would like for heal woun

[quote who="Souls-Stream" reply="114" id="3136138"]Another thing I forgot to talk about is spells classifications ! I mean ok, we have a bunch of spells but after a while it gets really complicated to find the one you want to cast :/ a little bit of orders would not hurt in there Especially in tactical battles where the spells gets really messy with the bunch of small icons at the bottom of the screen ! If needed bring back the spell book instead of the icons

[quote who="Colbert30" reply="126" id="3136278"] That said, and even though I enjoy going for the champion route and would probably do it anyway, that the units you can build seem bland to me doesn't help disuading me to do otherwise. They appear too unidimensional as opposed to how versatile and interesting heroes are. Take, for example, how AoW or Civ treats units. They gain levels like in this game, but as they do, they also gain traits and become not only more powerful, but also

2 Suggestions: 1. Adding the dynasty system back in would be nice. 2. Also it would be nice to have a toggled option to give heroes/champions a chance of dying when they are defeated. 3. And add some way for injuries to be healed.

So far its a big improvement over Beta 2, and I would say that you guys are easily on the way to making a great game. So far I would rate it as a B-. Now for the beta it seemed on the 2 games that I played that the AI seemed rather lethargic. On the first game they would declare war on me and never attack my city, while on the second game the other plays empire strength never raised past 120, while mine was over 1300. Now for some suggestions: 1. Casting a hostile spel

One thing that I think is missing in Elemental is good old espionage and backstabbing. For example games like Total War, Masters of Orion and Koei's Romance of the three kingdsoms all had kickbutt espionage options that gave you an alternative route to winning. So my suggestion would be to take the best aspects of espionage from these games and add it to elemental so that you can achieve victory another way than just magic or military might. First allow the creation of spy
