A few things. First a mod spell that will allow you to use dead corpse. I.e. Raise dead, animate dead, corpse explosion etc.. Second a mod spell that will affect the enemy as well as your units such as prayer. Third a mod spell that will add an improvement to your city. example wall of stone. For some reason I put several custom wave files from NWN2 into the Elemental sfx directory and tried to play them in a custom spell and nothing happened. Any hint as to whats going on? Seriously there is no difference between these wav files and the ones in game.

Why because MOM was probably the first fantasy based turn based strategy game out that focused mainly on magic, and sad to say it success was never duplicated even after close to 20 years. They dont have to make all of the spells in MOM or even all the abilities, all they have to do is copy enough from MOM and then give us the framework to work with so that we can do the rest. That way we can all have our sequal to MOM but Microprose wont be able to say a single thing since it was done by a loyal fan base.

Good guide. Do you have any idea how to make a mod that will use CDATA for sovereign talents? For example I tried to use CDATA to make a talent that would buff the sovereigns mana regen at 25% of the casters intelligence.

[e digicons]x_x[/e] Currently I am working on trying to mod this like MOM. Currently Im trying to change the way the Mana system works in this game to be more like MOM's system. This includes beefing up the mana regen in game, but adding mana drains on all the enchantments. Also adding mana regen stats to all of the shards in the game and possibly making temples as well for town production. I dont know but for me I was sold on this game being a sequal for Masters of Magic, and that Stardock even went so far as to try and purchase the license for it. Of course that didnt pan through but it was still sold as the spiritual successor to Master of Magic and unfortunately it fell woefully short of that. I would say that 70% of the stuff that I hear people whining about Stardock to change can be changed with a MOD. Of course that leaves the other 30% though like the core tactical fights, memory leak, and lack of depth concerning the spell system and lets not forget the AI.

Unfortunately no its not a single cast spell and there is no way to make it so, that I know of. I personally believe that the -1 duration makes the summon an enchantment which would make it single cast, but the spell wont work with the -1 duration.

I would love it too brotha, but unfortunately that is a little out of the question right now. First Stardock needs to flesh out the spells a little bit more so that we have something to work with. We could seriously mod about 40% of the MOM spells with what we have right now but thats nowhere near enough. Second npc's need alot more abilities than what they have right now. Right now we have a list of about 10 npc specials but need around 100. i.e. things like stone gaze etc..<

Well for me it was the duration line that was screwing it up for me. Once I got rid of that I was able to summon the hero. Also anyone know if there is some way to make a limit on the number of leaders you can summon? Perhaps making it use an enchantment slot, but anyone know how many enchantment slots you have?

Actually you make a quest where you select what type of npc you want to hire from the inn. Now if I can only allow the city to recruit champions instead of units. The reason behind this is to have units that will actually level up and instead of deleting a unit when its gear becomes obsolete you can just buy more gear and suit it up.
