Yeah figured out how to do that, but running into the same issue as you. I personally would like to see the ability to create your own heroes like in Sword of Aragon or being able to summon them like in MOM or AOW. Also it sounds cool that you could be able to goto an inn and recruit there or have a hero join you as a quest reward instead of having a bunch of heroes running around on the main map using up my resources.
How about they make the magic system like MOM? That worked incredibly well. I dont understand why we need to reinvent the wheel.
Yep it had the best magic system up to date. There have been other games that tried to match MOM to date but they failed and that was due to the Magic system not being up to snuff. Suggestion look at the MOM spell list and copy it or better yet Magic the Gathering has an extensive list of spe
As of right now I love the concept of elemental and what I see will be a great game in the future once a few things are fleshed out. In my opinion here is why I believe that Elemental is lacking in some respects. 1st - Magic - The magic in elemental is severely lacking. I personally cant speak for the majority of people that purchased this game but for me I was expecting it to be a spiritual successor to master of magic. What made MOM great was that it focused on MAGIC and had
I have wrestled with this one for a while now and cant ever seem to get it to work. First by changing the faction and allowing them to create the npc through the city, then next I tried to change the summoning spells to allow you to summon an npc. While I did summon a unit or create a unit it was nothing more than a unit and not an npc hero. So anyone figure out a work around for this?
I did this exact thing but how I did it was make a new faction, and then I edited the tech trees and made 2 new study items called Clarity 1 and Clarity 2 that they studied to increase the mana regen 1 point for each level you invested in it. I edited 3 files to get this to work for my new race. 1. First I edited the faction xml file for me it was Faction_DragonBorn.xml for you it will be whatever you name the factions. I added this to the r
Could we please have more automation in this game? While sometimes it is nice being able to micro-manage things like city building and research it does tend to get tedious at times, and often feels that once you get several cities it tends to make the game seem like just a city building sim. What I would like to see is default scripts in city building and research that will take out some of the work where players can spend time exploring and doing quests instead of just adding to citi
Hate crimes legislation is a farce, all its used for is to give special priveleges to certain skin colors while crimes commited to anglo americans is simply ignored, because we all know that racism is just a white thing. As for the first case the people should be charged for attempted murder. In the second case they should both be charged for assault. The guy was clearly out of hand by hitting the woman, but the woman was entirely out of hand by spitting in his face. If she sa
I would like to have the option to have a story line with this game, instead of following just the typical strategy game of conquer everyone to be the big cheese. Also random events associated with that storyline would be nice also. Perhaps events that could initiate quests etc.. And it would be cool to give the players extensive tools to allow them to create story driven games with tons of random events that do more than just add gold or take away gold etc..

Yeah Sword of Aragon did rock and it was cool that there was somewhat of a storyline to it also and not to mention the random events and city building were nice.
