I think there are several, but only sometimes. Some sort of on-&-off bug.

Agree with PawelS. Or, let us drag the pop-ups. Or make the game smart enough to put them off to whichever side has less going on, instead of dead-center.
No need to involve the name, just tell us the random seed it used so we can make a note and get it again if we want. Or let us save the map. I've seen both, forget where.
I like having a full set. But why doesn't the master light plate set include the helmet ?
"indeed love the one caraven per city level idea, we would need a "trading" tab somewhere, whcih we coudl use to canlce or redirect trade routes." Yes. But FWIW, in my games I can never get nearly an many caravans as the OP. There are always forests along my trade routes and the monsters that spawn there keep eating them. Kill the baddies and they respawn soon.
Entering tactical combat, colors were off, like background solid purple. Was able to finish anyway; colors remained bad when I was back to strategy map; crashed in a few seconds. crash zip file http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8928343/Elemental0_92-2010-07-24T17-55-47-375.zip debug.err was too big for pastebin, so I chopped a bit after the dxdiag info <a hre
Fighting wolves, it endlessly repeated the attack animation. Looked like my sovie was hitting a wolf for 4 damage, and the wolf was missing me. This was to get the key for Maggie's ring. When I blew it off, got an error message "DX error invalid call", then another windows error. Event viewer says "Faulting application elemental.exe, version 0.9.2.0, faulting module msvcr80.dll, version 8.0.50727.4053, fault address 0x000461ab." debug.err&nb
Don't care about combining units. Should be able to upgrade troops, like we can in GalCiv2.
Cloth map, sadly.
Agree with OP.
Crashed just as it was doing the animation for shooting an arrow at enemy sovereign crash zip file http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8928343/Elemental0_92-2010-07-22T12-44-40-640.zip debug.err http://pastebin.ca/1906207 Savegame from just before http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8928343/QuickSave-Crash.EleSav (
At least on my XP system, the game doesn't actually stop running until about a minute after it looks like it exited. I know because I leave task-manager always on while testing. Wish stardock could reduce the time lag, however.
As soon as I clicked on the target spot "bump" sound and I was toast. crash zip at http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8928343/Elemental0_92-2010-07-21T19-55-55-562.zip debug.err at http://pastebin.ca/1905744
When you prepare to build one, the text at lower left says 15% bonus to economy (wrong, I assume); lower right says 15% to "knowledge collection" (correct, I assume, but why not call it "research"?).
I think it may be deliberate. If so, maybe they could change the message from "64, needs 50 to grow", to "this goofy little town cannot ever grow" or some such.
Happened to me once, immediately after I (finally) killed an enemy sovereign in tactical combat.
I've seen it too. Haven't tried building extras though.
Drove me crazy. Do something.
I haven't tested shortbows much, so I can't comment on the OPs main point. But I did go up 0.90 tech tree and looked like they don't have any other bows to research yet. How about longbows, crossbows, recurved/composite bows, etc. etc. Well, after the crashes are fixed, anyway.
I got really tired of corruption & rebel-spawning in Rome Total-War. Please don't go there. And they don't need rebels spawning much if they have monster-spawning.
Yes, please.
I see something similar all the time with cities I capture from minor civs. Never seen it in one of my cities or one I capture from a major.
So my King take on Lord Relias. Hit him with a spell that looks like it dinged him for 15 points. Hit him with another spell that looks like it hit for another 15. Clicked him to check his stats and it said he had 1 of 15 hit points. Spelled him again for another 15 and he still didn't die (I had action points for 3 spells in my first turn). Next turn he ran toward a cloud bank and the turn after that he fled. Maybe it wasn't in hostile territory to him,
The text says it increases gildars and prestige, but it has two of the little cup icons, so it looks like it increases prestige twice instead. Anybody measured what happens when you build it yet ??
