Slow like about 1 frame every 2 or 3 seconds. Colors bad like city areas of influence mostly black and most of the rest of the strategy map murky gray. Could this be related to the out-of-memory crashes ? Alt-esc out and task mgr says Elemental's mem usage is 1,032,456. XP sp3, 32-bit, 3gb ram. 512mg ati 5670. Again. Have any of the others who crashed when after exiting checked their DEP settings.
Happened after I "exited", while it was doing its cleanup or whatever, after it had gone off my screen. XP sp3, 32 bit. I always run with DEP on for all programs except those I tell it not to. So. Alt tab or alt-esc, then back in. Dx-error and out and it is dead & gone. Considering how long the system is busy with memory cleanup or whatever when I exit normally, the dx-error seems to be about the fastest way to actually get out. So, its a "feature", not a "bug" :)

Agree with all the OP's requests. But then, I hardly ever disagree with anything from MOM.
Seems kinda messed up now. And I've had custom sovies unable to wear boots or cloaks even though I did NOT give them any boots or cloak in the sovie design screen. My current sovie was not able to wear the cheapo greaves she found early in the game, but she can wear the full leather armor I made later. Just don't understand.
Just to see, I signed a non-agression treaty with him, and after a few turns he started moving farther into my territory. So probably a rules glitch -- it couldn't move across one square of my territory to without a treaty, even to get out of my territory.
Another one. Different battle, same result. Actually I've had at least 5 of these since .92 came out.
I get a dozen dx error messages a day. I think the devs have said that is usually a bad graphics card or buggy driver. There can't be as many bad cards in the world as there are beta-testers getting these errors -- :) -- and I, at least, never have a problem with anything except Elemental.
Release date in late Aug doesn't scare me. RTM / gold-date in early Aug does. The game starts out fine for me, then become unplayable after I get a few cities. The RTM version really needs to be better, especially if, as Froggie has stated, reviewers traditionally that version.
If beta-4 is Thursday, I would hope for a bug-fix only "3D" or something Monday.
He was standing just outside my territory when my city leveled-up and put him inside my turf. He's been sitting there without moving for a few dozen turns. 1: Shouldn't he move out, since we aren't at war but don't have any treaties? There are so many big bugs, I really hope they can get fixes for some of them out to us in time for us to report the next batch before gold day. Please. Really.
When I summon something, it always wants me to tell it where to place the new unit, but it won't accept anything except the spot my caster is on. Why not either let me summon onto nearby squares or replace the "pick a spot" with an "are you sure" ?
Best way to scroll in this game is to click a spot on the map & drag. Once we get manual / tutorial I *HOPE* this will be clear. Agree with most of the OP's points.
However they do it, when a monster eats one of my caravans, I want to be able to see where it was. This is a big deal to me.
It's a bit silly & tiresome to have to choose their new stats, THEN get the message that they are dead.
Sure *HOPE* the final version runs faster. Performance after I play a while is flat-up unacceptable on my current rig. (xp sp3 3gb ram, core-2-duo processor, ati 5670 512mb). Will probably to buy new sometime in the next six months -- wait to see how the official release runs, then pepper the forums with questions about the relative importance of fast cores, many cores, ram, graphics options, disc options, etc, etc.
The equipment not fitting seems to pretty much ruin my custom champions. Think maybe it depends on race ? Time for more testing. Anyway, big issue for me.
